Ringrose. English origins. They came from Yorkshire and were in the east of Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province in the 17th Century AD.

Mac Rinn - Irish / Mheic Bhroin - bran / raven. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Leitrim in Northern Connacht. Mac Crann was used as a synonym. Not connected to Ring.

O Riordan or O Rearden - Irish / Ua Rioghbhardan - riogh / royal - bhardan / poet. Ua Riordain now used. A Sept / Family branch, whose territory was between Thurles in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province and Birr in Co. Offaly in the mid - west of Southern Leinster. Early on they were to also migrate to Muskerry in the west of Co. Cork in Desmond / Des Mhumhain / Southern Munster were they were Chiefs.

Mac Ritchie. (Descended from a son of Richard) Scottish origins. They were in the north - east of the Ulster Province.

Rive -

Roach. They were in Ormond / Aur Mhumhain in Co. Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster and nearby in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province.

Roan. Used a a variant for Rowan, which see. They were at Athlone in Co. Westmeath in the south - west of Northern Leinster.

Roche. English Barons of Tarbert who were in Co. Limerick and Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province.

Meath supported the Oliver Cromwell Invasion and as a result  there is Rochfordbridge. One was the English Lord Belvedere who married Mary the daughter of Lord Molesworth. They were in Co. Westmeath in the south - west of Northern Leinster.

Rochford. Actually de Ridlesford - Anglo Norman  origins. They were in Co. Cork in Southern Munster.
