O Muckian - O Muldoon

O Muckian or O Muckeen - Irish / Ua Mochaidhean. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory at Cremorne in Co. Monaghan in Southern Ulster. Some also changed to Mac Kean, which see.

Muckle. They were in Co. Down in the south - east of the Ulster Province. May be a contracted form of Mucklebreed, which see, or a variant of Mackle, which see.

Mucklebreed. Especially see - Mac Bride - Irish / Mheic Giolla Brighde.

O Muckley or O Mulclahy or O Mulclohy - Irish / Ua Maolchluiche - cluiche / game. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory at Inishmulclahy in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province. Now in the Munster Province and known now as O Mulcahy. It has also been changed to Stone / cloch / cloiche.

Mugan or Muggane. They were in the Connacht Province. Mogan was also used as a variant. They may be synonymous with Moughan or it may also be a distinct name such as Ua Mogain.

Muggevan. Used as a variant for Mungevan, which see.

O Mulberry - Irish / Ua Maoilbhearaigh (Descended from a devotee of St. Barry) A Sept / Family branch, who had there territory in Co. Derry in the north - east of the Ulster Province. May also be the origin of Malborough and Marlborough used in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province.

O Mulcahy - Irish / Ua Maolchathaigh (Descended from a devotee of St. Cathach) A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory and were Chiefs in Co. Tipperary in Ormond / Aur Mhumhain in the north - east of the Munster Province and were also nearby in Co. Limerick in the mid - north - west of Munster.
