Mac Keohane or Mac Keoghane or Mac Kohane - Irish / Mheic Eochain. Corrupted as Ua Ceochain in the west of Co. Cork in Southern Munster only.

Mac Keon. A Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "Northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept / Family branch. Especially see - Mac Kean.

Mac Keon or Mac Keown - Irish / Mheic Eoghain (Descended from a son of John) A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Northern Connacht with one of their Septs also in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht. Others were nearby in Co. Roscommon, Co. Sligo and Co. Leitrim where they were prominent as Mac Keon.
