O Hedian or O Hadian - Irish / Ua hEidin. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Roscommon and the adjacent territory in Co. Leitrim in the north of the Connacht Province. Sometimes confused with O Hayden as their name was derived from a similar source, but both Septs are distinct.
