                                                                    Habbagan - Mac Haffy

Habbagan or Hobbikin. Gaelicized as Mheic Oibicin. Anglo Norman origins. Many also changed to Hopkins. They were previously known as Hobagan in Co. Longford in the north - west of Northern Leinster in 1659 AD.

Haberlin. German origins. They were in Ireland in the early 18th Century AD in the south of Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster  and nearby in Co. Waterford in the south - west of the Munster Province.

Hackensall -

Hackett. Used as a synonym for Mac Cahey, Mac Gahey and Gaggy, which see - Irish / Mag Eachaidh who were in Co. Armagh and nearby in Co. Tyrone in the Ulster Province.

Hackett. Originally Haiceid. Anglo Norman origins. They came into Ireland with the Anglo - Norman Invasion in the 12th Century AD and were in Co. Kilkenny / Ossory and nearby in Co. Kildare in the west of Central Southern Leinster. They also had a branch in the Connacht Province known as Mac Hackett and also as Guckian "Who became more Irish then the Irish. "  

Hadden or Haddon. English origins. They were in the Ulster Province and nearby in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster. Also occasionally used as a synonym for Hadian, which see.

Haddock or Haydock. English toponymic origins. They were in Co. Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province and from 1690 - 1800 AD were also in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster.

Hade. May be of German Palatine origins? They were in Co. Carlow in Southern Leinster. See also - Haide.

O Hadigan. See - Hedigan.

O Hadian. See - Hedian.

Hadnett. Used as a variant for Hodnett, which see.

Hadsor or Hadesore. Anglo Norman toponymic origins. They have been in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster and Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster since the 13th Century AD. This Family was later destroyed by the English Government for supporting the Stuart English Catholic King, James 11, but were still to survive until the late 18th Century AD.
