Mac Gaynor or Mac Ginver - Irish / Mag Fhionnbhairr - fionnbharr / fair headed. An Irian Conmaicne Magh Rein Muintir Geradhain Sept / Family branch of the Tellach Finnoigi, Tellach Gabhadhain, who had their territory at Lough Gowna in Co. Longford in the north - west of Northern Leinster. Some Mac Ginvers are now known as Mac Ginty as in Co. Monaghan in Southern Ulster. Used with Mag instead of Mac it became Kinure in Ormond / North Eastern Munster. Especially see - Mac Ginver. 

Mac Geady - Irish / Mag Geadaigh or Eidigh. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in the north west of Co. Donegal in the north - west of the Ulster Province.

Mac Geaghan or Mac Gegan. Used as variants for Geoghegan, which see.
