Dolphin / Doilfin. Norse origins. They came from England with the Anglo - Norman Invasion and were in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht where they became "More Irish then the Irish" with their own Chief.

O Domegan - Irish / Ua Domagain - doma / poor. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in the east of the Leinster Province. O Dumigan used in Co. Down in the south - east of the Ulster Province.

Domville. English origins. They came from Cheshire and were in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster in the 17th Century AD.

Mac Donagh - Irish / Mac Donnchadha (Descended from a son of Donagh) A Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil Sept / Family branch, of the *Mac Carthys, which see, who had their territory in Co. Cork in Desmond / Des Mhumhain / Southern Munster. They were also Chiefs of Duhallow. Many there once again took up the name of Mac Carthy. Ancestors - *85.Eoghan "Mor" (Eoghanachta), *84.Ailill "Oluimm" the 1st King of Munster.

Mac Donagh - Irish / Mac Donnchadha (Descended from a son of  *Donagh Mac Dermot) A Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Sept / Family branch of the Mac Dermots, whose territory was in the Barony of Tirerril in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province. They were also Chiefs of Corran in the Ui Briuin Ai Tuath / Family region. Ancestors - *87.Brion the original 1st King of Connacht (Ui Briuin), *86.Eochy "Mugmedon" the 124th King of Tara / Ireland.

Mac Donagh - Irish / Mac Donnchadha. A Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ui Seola Sept / Family branch of the O Flahertys, which see, who had their territory in the Connemara region in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht. Ancestors - *87.Brion the original 1st King of Connacht (Ui Briuin), *86.Eochy "Mugmedon" the 124th King of Tara / Ireland.

O Donagher. Used as a variant for O Danagher, which see, in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province.

O Donarty - Irish / Ua Donndubhartaigh - dubhartach / aggressive. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in the south of Co. Tipperary in the north - east of Ormond / Aur Mhumhain  North Eastern Munster. Some changed to Dunworth and Davenport, which see.

Dondon or Dundon / Dondun / de Auno - Anglo Norman origins. Known as Dawnay in England. They were in Co. Limerick in the mid - north - west of Thomond / Northern Munster Province in the 13th Century AD.
