Chaloner -

Chamberlain. They were in Ireland in Mediaeval Times in Co. Cork in Desmond / Southern Munster.

Chambers / de la Chambre. Anglo Norman origins. They were in the Ulster Province and Co. Mayo in the mid - west of the Connacht Province. Also see Cambridge.

Chamerlyn -

Chamney. Originally Champney / le Champagnois (from Champagne.) They were in Co. Wicklow and Co. Wexford in the south - east of Southern Leinster in the 17th and 18th Centuries AD.

Chaney. Used as a variant for Cheney, which see.

Chapman. English occupational name. They were in all Provinces early as le Chapman in the 13th Century AD, and later in the Connacht Province in 1629 AD. Later still they were in Co.
