Mac Cart (Descended from a son of Art) - Irish / Mheic Airt. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in the Ulster Province.

Mac Cartan - Irish / Mheic Artain / Art. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Down in the south - east of the Ulster Province and nearby in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster were they were the Kings and Chiefs of Kinelearty.
