A Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Sept / Family branch anglicized as Hy Many whose territory there was founded originally by *84.Eochy / Echu "Doimhlen" a brother to 84.Fiacha "Sraibhtine" who was the 120th King of Tara / Ireland in 285 AD, whose adjoining territory took in Co. Galway and Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province, Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province and nearby in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster. In 357 AD *86.Maine "Mor," a brother to 86.Eochy "Mugmedon" the 124th King of Tara / Ireland, who was then the King there became the overlord of further territory in the south - east of Connacht previously controlled by the Fir Bolg Septs. Their main Sept eventually became the O Kellys of Connacht who had their territory in the east of Co. Galway and in the Barony of Athlone in Co. Roscommon becoming known there as the Mainig ( The Men of the Ui Maine.) Fermanagh in the south - west of the Ulster Province above Enniskillen, where the name Monaghan is quite numerous and who were possibly the original inhabitants there centred on Lurg, but they eventually migrated into Co. Clann Meibricc. Hibernized. In 1337 AD they were actually the Merricks, which see of Co. Mayo and Co. Galway in the mid - west of the Connacht Province.

Ui Mella. O Finnerans / Ui Finntighearn were their Chiefs who had their territory in Co. Westmeath in the south - west of Northern Leinster.  

Menapii / Manapii. Monaig Fir Bolg. A Celtic Sept / Family branch whose original territory was in Co. Waterford in the south - east of the Munster Province, and in the adjoining territory in Co. Wicklow and Co. Wexford in the south - east of Southern Leinster where their territory bordered on the River Slaney / Modonus on the bank of which was their chief fortress of Menapia / Wexford. They were also nearby in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster in the eastern part. Clann Mhorna. A Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in the Midlands / Mide / Meath / Northern Leinster and they led the Heremonian King's Fianna warriors for 32 years. Goll mac Mhorna from this Sept, who was a contemporary of 80.Conn of the Hundred Battles the 110th King of Tara / Ireland and he was also unusual in Irish history as he had been born as a result of a Caesarean operation carried out by a Druid. He would grow up to be the leader of the Connacht Fianna warriors in his own right for 10 years leading 3 regiments of 3,000 men each defending the coast of Ireland and during the Winter they would depend on the support of the population and in the Summer forage for themselves.
