Ui Faelain - A Heremonian Sept descended from 103.Faelan the 16th King of Leinster the direct ancestor of the Ui Faelain Sept who was one of the 4 sons of 102.Murrough - Murchad the previous 14th King of Leinster descended from 94.Dunlaing the son of 93.Enna "Nia" one of the 2 sons of 92.Bressal "Belach" the Cu Corb 1st King of Leinster. Represented by the O Byrnes of Co. Wicklow in south - east Leinster  who originally had their territory at Naas where they controlled the eastern part of the Plain - Airthir Liphi in the north of Co. Kildare in Central Leinster with many from the O Faelain Sept anglicizing their name later on to O Phelan and O Whelan.

Ui Faelain - Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Sept. 966 AD Faelan, died, who was the King of the Deisi Muman, and the son of Cormac mac Mothla the previous King of the Deisi Muman, and he became the direct ancestor of the Ui Bruice Sept and the Ui Faelain Sept in Munster.

Ui Failge - A Heremonian Cu Corb Sept who were descended directly from 91.Ros "Failge" one of the 9 sons of 90.Cahir "Mor" the 109th King of Tara - Ireland who had their original territory in Co. Kildare in Central Leinster. 746 AD Flann was their King who was a grandson of Congal. 

Ui Failghe Offaly

Ua bhFailghe - Early on 6 (six) mTuatha - Family Septs formed a federation with the O Connors and an O Connor "Faly" was nearly always the Chief. Their main stronghold was at Daingean - An Daingean - the Fortress in the Barony of Lower Philipstown in Co. Offaly in north - west Leinster. Their main Sept was O Connor Failghe - Failey - Faly and their territory was a sub - kingdom of the Leinster Province and only about one third of Co. Offaly was actually part of it.

Ui Failgi - A Sept who had their territory in west Co. Offaly and in the east of Co. Laois and at an earlier period also had territory in the west of Co. Kildare in Central Leinster were they were Princes of in 1321 AD.

Feara Cul - Sept originally of Tethbae in Co. Westmeath in the north - west of Northern Leinster then crossed the River Shannon to the west and were on the border of Co. Galway & Co. Roscommon were they remained for 300 years until the early 2nd Century AD and then acting a a bodyguard for 82.Cormac mac Airt became the Feara Cul Breagh - of Bregia in Co. Meath in north - east Leinster.

 Feara Maighe Fermoy - Sept - Cuana was the King of who was a son of Ailcen.

Ui Felmeda - A Heremonian Cu Corb Sept descended from 95.Felim - Feidlimid one of the 2 sons of 94.Enna "Cennsalach" the Cu Corb 2nd King of Leinster who is the direct ancestor of the Ui Cheinnselaig Sept, a son of 93.Labraid "Laidech" one of the 2 sons of 92.Bressal "Belach" the Cu Corb 1st King of Leinster descended from 86.Cu "Corb" the direct ancestor of all the Cu Corb Septs in Leinster. Territory on the River Slaney adjacent to the Ui Bairrche Tire Sept who were in the west and to the east of the River Barrow.

Clann Feorais - Hibernized - In 1261 AD the English Berminghams who were in Co. Mayo in south - west Connacht and in 1407 AD were also in north - west Co. Kildare in Central Leinster.

Feorain Flann Sept were in Co. Limerick in north - west Munster.

Cenel Feradaig - A Sept who had their territory at Clogher in Co Tyrone in Central Ulster.

Cenel Ferga - A Sept who had their territory at Bally Britt in Co. Offaly in north - west Leinster.

Clann Fermaige - A Sept who in 1271 AD had their territory at Genfarne in the north of Co. Leitrim in Northern Connacht.

Fiacach Eile - A Sept who had their territory in the north - east of Co. Tipperary - Thurles & Roscrea - were descended from 87.Deach "Luath" the grandson of 85.Eoghan "Mor," who is the direct ancestor of the Eoghanacht Septs, who was a brother to 85.Cian and 85.Cormac "Cass,"

Cenel Fiachach - A Heremonian Dal Cuinn Southern Ui Niall Sept who were descended from 88.Fiachu, one of the 8 sons of 87.Niall of the Nine Hostages the Ui Niaill 126th High King of Tara - Ireland in the late 4th Century AD who had their territory in Mide at Kinaleagh Moy Cashel in Co Westmeath in north - west Leinster on the River Brosna and Durrow in Co. Offaly in mid - west Leinster. 

Ui Fiachrach - Heremonian Dal Cuinn Septs descended directly from 87.Fiachra, who was one of the 5 sons of 86.Eochy - Eochaidh "Mugmedon" the 124th King of Tara - Ireland in the 3rd Century AD. He was a brother to 87.Brion the direct ancestor of the Ui Briuin Septs and 87.Ailill the direct ancestor of the Ui Ailello Septs. Their mother was 89.Mongfind the sister to 89.Criffan - Crimthann the Gaelic Milesian Eoghanacht King of Munster & 125th King of Tara - Ireland. The descendants of these 3 brothers in Connacht were known collectively as the 3 Connachta - People of the Land of Conn. Produced 15 Kings of Connacht & 2 Kings of Tara - Ireland.

Ui Fiachrach Aidhne - Aidni - Aidne - A Heremonian Dal Cuinn Southern Ui Fiachrach Sept descended directly from 89.Eochy - Echu, one of the 3 sons of 88.Nath I the Ui Fiachrach 127th King of Tara - Ireland who was one of the 3 sons of 87.Fiachra the direct ancestor of all the Ui Fiachrach Septs. Their territory was in the south of Co. Galway in the region covered by the small diocese of Kilmacduagh in Southern Connacht. 9th Century AD - to the west of the Ui Maine Sept adjoining the Co. Clare border in north - west Munster. 1253 AD - Ui hEdin Sept - Eogan - 1403 AD Ui Sechnusaig Sept.

Ui Fiachrach Arda Stratha Sept had their territory to the west and east of the Sperrin Mountains in Ui Macc Uais territory near Bodoney with the Ui Thuirtri Sept to the east and the Fir Maige Itha Sept to the north - west in Central Ulster.

Ui Fiachrach Muaide - A Heremonian Dal Cuinn Sept descended directly from 89.Fiachnae, one of the 3 sons of 88.Nath I the Ui Fiachrach 127th King of Tara - Ireland, who was one of the 3 sons of 87.Fiachra the direct ancestor of all the Ui Fiachrach Septs. Territory in Tirlragh further to the east and below them was the Gailenga Sept but their territory originally included parts of north and east Co. Mayo and the west of Co. Sligo in Connacht north of Loch Conn. 1301AD O Muldoon - Mael "Duin" King of Tir Fiachrach Muaide.

Dal Fiatach - A Sept descended directly from 90.Forgg mac Dallain and one of the 2 main Septs of the Ulaid in eastern Ulster who were in constant conflict with the other Ulaid Sept the Irian Dal nAraide over the Kingship of Ulaid, which was ruled alternately by whoever gained the upper hand. Their territory was in Co. Down in mid - eastern Ulster below the Dal nAraidi Sept and it ranged from Bangor down to just above the Heremonian Dal Cuinn 3 Colla Conaille Muirthemne Sept, and included their own sub - Sept the Leth Cathail Sept in the south - east. To the north - west was Craeb Tulcha and to the west the territory of the Ui Echach Cobo Sept a sub - Sept of the Irian Dal nAraidi Sept and below in the south - west the Monaig Sept. They were to produce 57 Kings of Ulaid.

Ui Fidgeinti - A Heberian Eoghanacht Sept descended directly from 90.Brion, the son of 89.Fiachu "Fidgennid," the son of 88.Maine "Munchain" one of the 3 sons of 87.Ailill "Fland Bec," the son of 86.Fiachu "Mullethan" the 1st King of Southern Munster, the son of 85.Eoghan "Mor." Based originally on the Ciarraige Luachra Sept who had their territory in Mulloe in the west of Co. Limerick who were later to come under the over lordship of the Ui Fidgeinti - Corco Ochae. The Ui Fidgeinti were in the far - north - west near Adare. The Ui Fidgeinti Sept who were in the west of Co. Limerick and the Ui Liathain Sept were cut off from one another by the Fir Maige Fene Sept at Fermoy in Co. Cork in Southern Munster who were a hostile non - Eoghanacht Sept. The Ui Liathain Sept was given precedence as Cashel was given to them by the King of Cashel and they were therefore the greatest as 91.Bressal mac Ailello "Thassaig," who was a grandson of  89.Eochy - Echu "Liathain," a son of 88.Daire "Cerbba" had been a King of Munster and he had decreed the Kingship of Cashel with Desmond - Southern Munster under the Eoghanacht Raithlind King. Despite this the Ui Fidgeinti Sept may have only produced the one claimant to the Kingship of Cashel - Munster in 101.Olchobur mac Flainn an Abbot of Inis Cathaig - Scattery Island. The Ui Fidgeinti Sept and the Ui Liathain Sept were also based on the Ithian Dairine Sept just like the Corco Loigde Sept in Southern Munster and were seemingly only attached to the Eoghanachta.

Fine Gall - A Sept who had their territory around Dublin in Co. Dublin in mid - east Leinster.

Fir Bolg - Erainn - Fir Domnaan, Domnanians - Erris - known also as the Euerni - Erainn they were descended from Nemedh through his grandson, arrived into Ireland in BC as 3 distinct tribes, 1.Fir Domnu - of Domnu. , 2.Fir Gaillion and 3. Fir Bolg - Men of the Bags The Sept names of their tribes were the Menapi, Bolgi, Belgae and the Fir Bolg who intermarried with the Fomorians. They were to rule Ireland until the coming of their kinsmen, the Tuatha De Danann.

Ui Flaithbertaig - A Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Sept descended directly from 101.Flaherty - Flaithbertach, a son of 100.Eimin, a son of 99.Uroman, one of the 2 sons of 98.Murrough - Murchad the King of Iarthair (West) Chonnacht who died in 896 AD, a son of 97.Maenach, a son of 96.Flaithnia, a son of 95.Fiangalach, a son of 94.Fland "Rodba," a son of 93.Amalgaid - Auley, a son of 93.Cenn "Faelad: the 15th King of Connacht descended from 89.Senach the direct ancestor of the Ui Briuin Seola Septs who died in 682 AD. Ui Flann Chadha - Heberian Dal gCais Sept - who had their territory in Co. Clare in north - east Munster. In 1094 AD  Auliffe - Amlaib O Hehir was from the Hy Flan Chadha and in 1099 AD Donough O Hehir was the King of Hy Flan Chadha.

Fomorians - In Ireland long before the Celts but stayed mostly on Tory Island as they were Sea Pirates and were descended from 11.Ham one of the sons of 10.Noah. Fomhoire - from the Sea.

Ui Forga Sept - a sub - Sept of the Heremonian Muscraige Tire Sept who had their territory around Nenagh in the north - west of Co. Tipperary just to the south of the Northern Munster border, and adjacent to Loch Derg. 823 AD - Flann, the son of Flaherty - Flaithbertach arranged for 7 churches to be constructed at Clonmacnoise in Co. Offaly in mid - western Leinster.

Ui Fothaid Aiched Sept in Co. Tipperary in the Baronies of Iffa and Offa in the north - east of Munster.

Fothairt - A Sept who had their territory in Leinster who were the the remnants of pre - Celtic or pre - Goedelic Septs.

Fotharta / Foherta - The O Nolan - O Nowlan - Ui Nuallain Sept descended from Nuallan - to shout - to cry - were the Princes of the Fotharta whose territory was in the Barony of Forth in Co. Carlow in Southern Leinster were they held high office under the Heremonian Cu Corb Kings of Leinster and were in the east in Co. Wexford in the south - east of Southern Leinster. 738 AD Fearghus the son of Maenach & Dubh "Dacrich," were two of the Kings of the Fotharta Sept.

Fotharta Fea Sept - Territory further down on the River Slaney below the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig Ui Felmeda Sept and south - west of the Siol nEladaig Sept.

Fotharta Mara Sept - Territory below Wexford on the south - east coast of Southern Leinster to the east of the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Bairrche Sept.

Four Tribes of Tara - 4 (four) Septs the O Harts, the O Regans, the O Connollys and the O Kellys.
