Seanchus of Celtic Ireland - 6

                                                                                 2957 BC - 2659 BC

2957 BC - 2242 BC The beginning of recorded Hebrew / Habiru History and with all of the begetting that was going on *10.Noah had been born to *9.Lamech and was by now well aware that the Great Flood was going to occur in the near future and he advised his four sons, 11.Shem / Semites, 11.Ham / Hamitic, *11.Japheth / Celts, and 11.Bith who would die in Ireland. *10.Noah went about preparing his gigantic Ark in readiness for this coming catastrophic event that was to occur around 2900 BC. *10.Noah was then to refuse any chance of a place in the Ark to the last mentioned son, 11.Bith informing him that the Ark was "No ship for robbers and thieves" after he had gone against all he had been previously taught of the One Almighty God and set up an idol and worshipped it instead. Despite this 11.Bith and his daughter, 12.Cessair had still been made aware of the forthcoming calamity and along with 12.Cessair''s husband, Fintan, who was a son of Bochra, and their companion Ladra who was to act as their navigator, they began building a boat of their own to ensure that they too were to be able to survive should it occur. When their vessel was finally completed they were to sail around in it for 7 years after this, until they eventually landed on the coast of Ireland at Dun na mBarc in Southern Munster with a total of 50 female passengers on board. Once on dry land the 3 men divided the women into 3 groups with Ladra somewhat upset with his unequal portion of only 16 of the women and he decided to head south with them where he was to die within a very short period of time, from either an excess of female company or the result of a severe previous injury to his buttocks, involving an oar, that had occurred during the voyage. Meanwhile 11.Bith had also taken his daughter's companion, Bairrfhind and another 16 of the women among his group, while 12.Cessair's husband, Fintan took her and the other 16 women in his group. Later on after being informed of the death of Ladra, Fintan and 11.Bith then distributed the rest of the women between them finishing up with 25 each and 11.Bith took his group and headed north were he too soon also met his demise. All of the women then returned to the company of 12.Cessair. Fintan realising that he was overburdened with so many women left the group and went to Tul Tuinde (The Hill of the Wave) were he was eventually to become the lone survivor in Ireland from the original group as 40 days after they had initially arrived came the Great Flood.

Meanwhile *10.Noah had finished the Ark and accommodated his other 3 sons, 11.Shem / Semites 11.Ham / Hamitic and especially *11.Japheth / Celts who was to be the one who would be the most consequential in Irish History. *11.Japheth was to produce 7 sons of his own and included among these was to be his second eldest son, *12.Magog who all the Celts of Ireland were to claim as their original direct ancestor. He is mentioned in the Christian Bible where he has no descendants listed at all, although some of his brothers do, and at that early period in time the Celts would have had no other way of gaining this knowledge only personally and directly. The Hebrew / Habiru Torah and the Christian Bible were not to be completely begun to be compiled until after 70 AD when the Romans were to capture Jerusalem and at that time they were also to destroy most of the Jewish Third Temple and abolish the Jewish high priesthood and their Sanhedrin. Of further interest in relation to 12.Magog was that he was also to be the original ancestor of the Celtic King, Attila the Hun who would later on actually capture Rome, and Attila's kinsmen may also have been among the early Laigin / pronounced Lin Celts or Spear People, who emanated from the same genetic bank who were to arrive into Ireland later on in the early 4th Century BC. They were to lay down the foundation for the basic Celtic tribes in Southern Leinster in what was then to be Tir Laigin (The Land / Tir Laigin - Leinster), named for them.

2900 BC. The period when the Great Flood occurred as recorded n the future on stone tablets in 1646 BC - 1626 BC.

All of the  Scythian predecessors of the Irish Celts were to eventually arrive into Ireland over a very prolonged period of time, and all as individual tribes or Septs / Family branches were to claim descent from *12.Magog and are known today as the Partholonians, the Nemedians, the Fir Bolg, the Tuatha De Danann, the Laigin, the Cruthin Picts and the Gaelic Milesians. Of these the most successful Celts to arrive were to eventually be the Gaelic Milesians known also then as the Feni, from *14.Feinias "Farsaidh," the 1st King of Scythia who had his territory in Scythia above the Black Sea and who was a grandson of *12.Magog. (This was also to lead on as another reason for the Irish "Rebels" against British oppression in Ireland later on, being known as the Fenians.) A later influx of the Feni into Ireland was to be due to the constant Roman Empire campaigns being carried out against the Celts on the Continent in Gaul, Castile and Portugal against the Gaels, and in France against the Belgae, which at that time was to take in parts of Spain and most of France. All of the Celtic tribes were to claim direct descent through 12.Magog and then through three of his other sons, 13.Baabhhad / Baabh, 13.Iobath (Ancestor of the Gaels) and 13.Fathnachta / Fathochta - the ancestor of the Partholonians, and the Nemedians who were to be the direct ancestors of 3 sub - Septs, the Fir Bolg / Belgae, the Britons / Brythons and the Tuatha De Danann.

Partholon the descendant of 13.Fathnachta was to be the leader of the Scythian Partholonians, who are generically called after him also, after they were forced to flee from Scythia to Ireland, as he had killed his mother, and his father, Sera, in his own Country while attempting to gain control there for himself. His brother Tait is the direct ancestor of Paim the direct ancestor of Aduam "Bau" - the Scythian Greek who was to become the father of Nemedh / Nemedius who would later also bring his followers, the Scythian Nemedians, into Ireland and then become the ancestor of the Fir Bolg / Belgae, the Britons / Brythons and the Tuatha De Danann Septs / Family branches in Ireland.

2659 BC The original influx of the Partholonians into Ireland was to occur on the 1st May, which was the beginning of the Celtic Season of the Festival of Beltaine well after the Great Deluge involving *10.Noah had transpired. 24 males and 24 females were to initially arrive into Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster Province via Macedonia in Greece, under the leadership of Partholon. Among these were his 3 sons, Slainge, Laighlinne and Rory / Rudhraidhe and their wives, Dealgnat, Nerbha, Ciochbha and Cerbnad. Also among them was Bacorb "Adhra" the first recorded teacher of Ireland who was an Ollamh (poet / bard) to Partholon himself, while Muncnican and Meran were his Champions. Among his companions also was Samaliliath the first recorded person to introduce ale into Ireland, Capa the first recorded doctor, Luasad a builder and Laighne a fisherman.

Already set up off the north - coast of Ireland on Tory Island were the Fomoiri / Fomorians who were Hamitic African Sea Pirates descended from another of *10.Noah's sons, 11.Ham, who later also traced their ancestry from Domnu from whom Indech their King at that time was to be descended. They would continue to wreak havoc and demand tribute for Centuries on the Scythian Celts, descended from *12.Magog, who were to try and continue to settle on the mainland of Ireland. Although the Partholonians were to constantly come under attack from these Hamitic Fomorian Sea raiders they were to basically continue to prosper and grow in numbers during the 3 Centuries that lie ahead. On their arrival, Ireland was to only be composed of the one Plain of Elta, which was treeless and grassless, with 3 lakes and 9 rivers, but over the 3 Centuries ahead they would clear 3 more plains and 7 new lakes / lochs would appear due to the ever - changing climatic conditions in Ireland.

2649 BC Ten years after the Partholonians came into Ireland, Cical "Grigenchosach" - the Footless," one of the Hamitic Fomorian Chiefs, who was a son of Goll - of the One Eye, the son of Garbh - the Rough, and his mother, Lot, arrived onto the mainland of Ireland in 4 ships with 800 of their followers. Their contingent was composed of 200 men and 600 women, as the women too in earlier times fought and died beside their men and even led sections of their armies. The battle that occurred at this time between the Partholonians and the Fomoiri lasted a week and occurred in the locality that would later became known as the Plain of Ithe / Sleamhnai Magh Ithe and the Partholonians were to be victorious on this occasion as Partholon was able to kill their leader, Cical - the Footless during the battle. Partholon was later to die on the Liffey Plain near Dublin in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster.
