TOOTH ACHE
/ Also see Teeth & Gums: Place
a whole Clove against the Tooth
or a few drops of Clove Oil. Also use Cayenne
or Peppermint Tinctures or Chamomile
rinse. An Onion Poultice on the outside
of the Face will also give relief.
Apply Oil of cloves to the Tooth cavity using a cotton bud. Herbs:
Clove Oil: used as a local Anesthetic
and Anti - Septic for Tooth
Ache by placing directly on the Tooth
and is not ingested.
Ginger:
used as a Compress to alleviate the pain
and Red Pepper could also be added to it
to increase heat as they are counter irritants
to diminish the deeper pain. Mix the powdered Spice
or Spices in enough water to form a gooey paste
and dip in a cotton ball and wring out and apply directly to the Tooth
without touching the Gum and if too
hot rinse out the Mouth and try some
other remedy. Red Pepper:
contains Capsaicin that burns the Skin
for a while but depletes the action of Substance P the
chemical in the Body responsible for
transmitting pain and it is endowed also with Salicylates,
Aspirin like chemicals that relieve pain. Use as cotton Compress as
described for Ginger. Rhubarb
- Da Huang: contains 6 pain
relieving compounds and is used for Tooth
Ache by frying the Root then steep
in Alcohol to create a Tincture and with a
cotton ball apply directly to the painful Tooth
for 5 minutes. Sesame:
boil 1 part Sesame seeds with 2 parts water
until half the liquid remains and apply directly to the Tooth
for Tooth Ache & Gum
Disease. Toothache Tree:
used to treat Tooth
Ache by either chewing the Bark or as a Tea
made from the Bark or Berries.
Willow Bark: contains Salicin related
to Aspirin to relieve pain by drinking a Tea
made from the Bark or Tincture. N.B:
If allergic to Aspirin
do not use.
Tooth Powder:
Mix Sea Salt, ground
dried Peppermint, Sage & Thyme. TOOTH -
Decay: Develops between the ages of 5 - 15
and drops off as the Body develops Immunity
to decay - causing Bacteria basically several
types of Streptococcus. Herbs:
Bay Oil: is an Aromatic with a
powerful Bacteria killing chemical, 1,8
- Cineole - that prevents Tooth
decay. Bergamot:
Bloodroot: assists to reduce Dental
Plaque deposited on the Teeth in over a
week as it contains Sanguinarine that binds to
the Dental Plaque
responsible for Gum Disease
as well as Tooth decay
and is therefore also good for fighting Gum Disease.
Chaparral: Mouth
Wash Tea reduces Cavities
as it contains Nordihydroguarietic Acid
a potent Anti - Septic but
do not swallow. Herbal
Mouth Wash: 1 pint Vodka,
2 tablespoons Eucalyptus, 2 tablespoons Cardamon,
2 tablespoons Rosemary or
Spearmint, 1 tablespoon Cherry Birch or Wintergreen,
1 tablespoon Horsemint, 1 tablespoon Thyme,
1 tablespoon Wild Bergamot. Mix in a glass jar
with the Vodka and close the jar and leave for
a month. Can be used after dinner to swizzle in the Mouth or if desired can be swallowed as it contains 20 Anti
- Septic compounds that may assist to prevent Tooth
decay. Liquorice:
contains Glycyrrhizin a Bacteria
killer, and non -
Sugar sweetener and Indole
a powerful decay -
preventive compound.
Myrrh:
used as an Anti - Septic with the Tincture being a Deodorant
& Disinfectant and it can be used as a Dental
rinse, Gargle or Mouth Wash. Peanut:
are less likely to cause Cavities then any food
that contains Sugar.
Stevia:
is a non - Sugar sweetener and suitable for anyone trying to cut Calories.
Tea: contains
several compounds that work together to prevent Tooth
decay and also contains a considerable amount of Tooth
- preserving Fluoride, while Green Tea may
contain more. To sweeten use Liquorice instead
of Sugar that promotes Tooth
decay. Brew the Tea with a little dried Liquorice Root.
Toothache Tree: used to reduce the pain of Toothache
and also contains a Bacteria
killing chemical that can assist to prevent Tooth
decay. Chew the Twigs
or make a concentrated Tea to use as a Mouth Wash.
Wild Bergamot / Wild Myrrh:
contains up to 30,000 parts per million of the decay
- preventive compound, Geraniol, and
has about 20 times more of this compound than Tea and
it also contains Thymol another Anti
- Septic the active ingredient in Listerene.
TRAUMA:
Dose immediately with Rescue
Remedy and give a 2nd dose 15
minutes later and a 3rd dose 30 minutes later. Treat up to 5 times
daily for 24 hours or longer at 2 to 3 times a day - see Rescue
Remedy. TRAVEL SICKNESS: see also Motion Sickness. Ginger: is gentle to the Stomach, assists with Flatulence and the Digestive System. Formula: Ginger: 2 hours before travel and every hour during, Vitamin B6: 50mg a day. TUBERCULOSIS:
Symptoms: Chronic, usually Contagious Bacterial infection that
can spread through the Body
in the Bloodstream & Lymph Nodes
but is usually focussed on the Lungs with
a morning Cough of a
Nervous character with some
trifiling Sputum and loss
of Appetite & strength to follow and
then spitting up of Blood.
Cause: The disease
is usually prevalent in poverty - stricken areas
where people live crowded together without adequate medical care. The Bacteria
remains dormant after entering the Body
and only 10% of infected individuals actually
come down with overt TB but the other 90% produce
TB Anti - Bodies signifying exposure but have no signs of infection
and cannot spread the Disease. Due to the upsurge
of AIDS the Bacteria
has become resistant to one or more of the Anti
- Biotics. To become infected people need
to be repeatedly exposed to a carrier.
Herbs: Echinacea:
used to boost the Immune System - 450mg 3
times a day in Capsules or 40 drops of Tincture 3 times a day.
Eucalyptus:
used to treat TB. Add a drop or two to water or
Tea.
N.B:
Normally you can not ingest Essential
Oils as they can be Toxic but Eucalyptus
is an exception as long as you do not use more than
a drop or two. Forsythia:
used as an anti - Bacterial anti - Septic
as strong Teas are active against several Bacteria and
this herb has been combined with Honeysuckle against
TB. Forsythia Twigs
in a 1:2 ratio with Honeysuckle in a Tea or hot
Lemonade. Garlic:
is used to treat TB with 1 Garlic
Capsule a day that is equal to 1gm of fresh Garlic
as Garlic may assist Anti
- Biotics do their job in fighting TB. Its
active ingredient, Allicin is an Anti
- Bacterial compound that enhances the
action of Anti - Biotics as Chloramphenicol
/ Chloromycetin & Streptomycin against TB
Bacteria. Herbal Mouth
Wash:
Honeysuckle
Flower Extracts: used to treat Respiratory
Conditions, including TB, Bronchitis,
Colds, Flu & Pneumonia. Tea:
Summer: use a handful of Flowers per cup of boiling
water and drink up to 3 cups a day. Winter:
boil the Twigs and dried Leaves
to make a bitter Tea and add Lemon & Honey.
Liquorice: has 33% Anti - Bacterial
compounds on a dry weight basis and is used to
treat TB and is also Anti
- Viral. Onion:
contain nearly as much Anti - Bacterial action
as their relative, Garlic. TUMOURS:
Use a Cabbage
Poultice and alternate with a Clay Poultice. Also use Carrot
& Fenugreek Poultices. Herbs:
Use Comfrey, Horsetail & Plantain Poultices.
* Also use Wood Sorrel Juice. Internally:
1 cup of a mixed Tea every hour made up of 300gm
Calendula, 100gm of Nettle
in 2 Litres of boiling water
and 100gm of Yarrow. Add 3 - 5 drops of Wood
Sorrel Juice in each cup. Also drink 1 Cup of Horsetail
Tea first thing in the morning and last thing at
night.
TYING UP: Horses: Cause: appears to be a deficiency of Iodine, Magnesium, Selenium & Vitamin E (Selenium & Vitamin E work together) If it is Iodine deficient will be unable to utilise the other Vitamins & Minerals. Treatment: Supplement with Dolomite, Vitamin E & Seaweed Meal or Concentrate, as this contains natural Iodine & Selenium. N.B: Only use Iodine & Selenium Injections under Veterinary direction. Also add a Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar daily to the feed and include Apple Cider Vinegar, Dolomite & Seaweed Meal in the diet. TYPHOID
FEVER: Symptoms: Enteric Fever
is hard to discern but there will be some Nose Bleeding
& Night Fever. Herbs:
Echinacea. TYPHUS: Symptoms: Begins with severe Head Aches & Back Aches, some loss of Appetite and persistent sickness and the Temperature rises rapidly with a rash beginning at the Wrists that spreads over the whole Body. |
