- Horses: These
are Knees that have not knitted properly as
the Foal grows into a Yearling as a Foal's Knees are
made up of several pieces that grow together to make one solid Bone
until their 18 months old.
Caused:
by a lack of Calcium & Magnesium, or the Boron
& Vitamin A &
D needed to assimilate the Bones.
Treatment:
Feed 1 x Tablespoon of Dolomite
& Seaweed Meal with Vitamin A, D & E
supplement and the Bones should join up
in a few months.

Symptoms: Deterioration of the Bone Structure and enlargement of the Joints by Calcium deposits usually with excruciating pain. Progression leads to Ankylosis (Joints lock permanently) Usually affecting the Weight bearing Joints, but the Neck and the Spine also can be affected. Cause: Menopause makes Women more vulnerable as it is a mild and Degenerative Joint Disease and Weight reduction is very Important to lessen the Stress on the Joints. Walk Barefoot for Static Electricity for 15 minutes 4 times a day if possible and Drink plenty of fresh natural water. and Women have a lighter Bone structure
then Men and Hormonal changes after Menopause seems
to accelerate this Disease. Symptoms:
Lower Back
Pain, Loss of Height,
Stooped Posture (Dowager's Hump), and an increased risk of
Fractures particularly to the Hip.
Daily Intake of Calcium for Women:
1,000 - 1500mg Calcium
- Calcium Phosphate every day in the diet. (Dairy
products and Fish are good sources.)
Obtain Calcium from foods such as canned
Fish, low -
fat Dairy products, Broccoli,
Kale, Legumes, Nuts, Seeds & Tofu. For
Calcium
to be absorbed to strengthen Bone it needs to
be consumed along with several other nutrients especially
Phosphorus, Magnesium, Boron, Vitamin A & D. High
Protein diets such as Meat,
Cereal Grains & Starches
with a high ash residue leach Calcium
from Bone. Protein
intake should be 1gm per Kilogram of Body weight
or 2 - 3 ounces daily for the average Woman. Avoid
Coffee as it increases Urinary
Calcium excretion.
Smokers also usually
have an earlier Menopause then non
- smokers. Alcohol may also be involved
in reducing Bone mass.
Exercise regularly
to prevent Bone loss such as
swimming and walking to increase the size
of your Bones. Diet should contain foods with a high Alkaline
ash residue such as Fruit & Vegetables. Herbs:
Avocado:
contains Vitamin D and assists with turning Calcium
into Bone. Mash an Avocado
into a non - fat cottage Cheese or Yoghurt
as they are also rich in Vitamin E. Black
Pepper: contains 4

Osteoporosis
compounds and it can be sprinkled on Avocado or Bean
Soup or Salad. Bone Broth: Place some
leftover Fish Bones in a few quarts of water
(If tiny tie in a cheesecloth bag) and bring to the boil
then cover and simmer for 30 minutes and add a couple of handfuls of finely
chopped Cabbage, Dandelion Greens, Stinging Nettle
Greens, Parsley, Pigweed & Purslane. Simmer
until the Greens soften slightly and season to
taste with Salt &
Pepper or any other seasoning required. Remove the Fish
Bones before serving and serve as Vegetable Soup
topped with Avocado Slices & Black
Pepper or use it as a stock for Bean Soups.
Properly prepared it will contain Boron, Calcium,
Beta - Carotene plus other Vitamin A -
like Carotenoids, Magnesium & Vitamin C
with some Vitamin D, Fluorine & Silicon. Cabbage:
contains Boron as it assists Oestrogen
levels in the Blood and Oestrogen
assists to preserve Bone and this
herb
has the highest Boron content among Leafy
Vegetables with 145 parts per million - p.p.m - on a dry weight basis.
Combine with Beans, Broccoli, Kale & Tofu in
Salads and steamed Vegetables. Dandelion Shoots:
are second to Cabbage for Boron
with 125 parts per million and also has 20,000 p.p.m of Calcium.
10gm - 7 Tablespoons of dried Dandelion
Shoots could provide 1mg of Boron and
200mg of Calcium and it also contains Silicon
that assists to strengthen Bone.
Horsetail: is among the richest
source of Silicon, as Monosilicic
Acid is used readily by the Body and
the herb is also used to prevent Osteoporosis and
to treat Fractures. Age along with
low Oestrogen
levels decrease the Body's ability to
absorb Silicon. Tea:
add a teaspoon of Sugar to the water along
with the dried herb as this will pull more Silicon
out of the plant, and bring to the boil and
simmer for 3 hours, then strain out the Leaves,
let it cool before drinking. N.B: consult a holistic
practitioner before using this herb.
Parsley: the dark green garnish is endowed with Boron
with 3 ounces of dried herb
providing 3mg to raise Oestrogen levels
and it is among the highest food source of Fluorine another
Bone strengthener. Pigweed
Leaves: contains 5.3% Calcium on a
dry weight basis. 1/3 ounce or 1/10 cup provides 500mg Calcium.
Other good sources in descending order of potency are Lamb's
Quarters, Broad Beans, Watercress, Liquorice, Marjoram, Savory, Red Clover
Shoots, Thyme, Chinese Cabbage, Bok Choy, Basil, Celery Seed, Dandelion &
Purslane. Soybean: and other Beans
- contain Genistein a plant Oestrogen
- Phytoestrogen that acts like the Female Oestrogen
in the Body. Formula: Calcium
