921 AD  Ranald / Ronald the Viking King of Dublin and Waterford, died, and the Vikings sacked Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province, again, but by now Sitric the Viking King of Dublin had turned his attention mostly towards York in Albion / England instead of Ireland.

921 AD - 930 AD A Cross that would play a part in the future history of Ireland was constructed this year in the Market Place in Ceanannus Mor / Kells in Co. Meath in the south - east of Northern Leinster.

922 AD Flaherty / Flaithbertach mac Inmainen from the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Muscraige Sept who had been the 32nd King of Cashel / Munster, died, this year, who would be the first and last from any of the Heremonian Septs to be a King of Cashel / Munster . 

922 AD 105.Lorcan mac Condligain became the Eoghanacht Chaisil 33rd King of Cashel / Munster, this year, who was a son of 104.Condligan, a son of 103.Corcran, a son of 102.Corcc, a son of 101.Artgal, a son of 100.Donnell / Domhnall, the son of 99.Conall (Eoghanacht Cenel Conaill, the son of 98.Snedgus, one of the 2 sons of 95.Colgan / Colgu the previous 15th King of Cashel / Munster, one of the 2 sons of 95.Failbhe "Fland" the 11th King of Cashel / Munster descended from 92.Felim / Fedelmid the 4a King of Cashel Munster, a son of 91.Angus / Oengus mac Nad "Froich" a son of 90.Nad "Froich," one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall "Corc" (Chaisil) descended from 85.Eoghan "Mor" (Eoghanachta) and 84.Ailill "Oluimm" the 1st King of Munster.

      The Vikings establish another permanent settlement on an island on the east bank of the River Shannon that is now known as Limerick in Co. Limerick in the mid - north - west of the Munster Province as their fleet of ships now dominated the Lower River Shannon region and Abel the scribe was slain by the Vikings this year.

923 AD Murray / Muiredach who had been the second one of that name who was the Abbot of Monasterboice Abbey in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster, died, this year, and a High Cross was also erected to commemorate his memory.

925 AD Colman, died, this year, who was the Abbot of Clonmacnoise in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster, and a previous faithful servant of 101.Flann "Sinna" the previous Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "Southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 164th King of Ireland.

      104.Dubgall the Dal Fiatach 38th King of Ulaid, in the north - east of the Ulster Province, died, this year, who was one of the 3 sons of 103.Aed the previous 37th King of Ulaid, and of his 2 brothers, 104.Matudan was to be the future 41st King of Ulaid who was to carry their male line forward while their other brother, 104.Niall would become the 43rd King of Ulaid. 103.Lynch / Loingsech the Milesian Gaelic Irian Dal nAraidi 33rd King became the 39th King of Ulaid in the north - east of the Ulster Province, who was a son of 102.Kennedy / Cenn Etig the previous 36a King of Ulaid who was descended from 95.Eochy / Eochaidh "Iarlaithe" the Dal nAraidi 10th King, one of the 2 sons of 95.Fiachnae "Lurgan" the 9th King of Ulaid descended from 62.Rory "Mor" the 86th King of Tara / Erinn (Clann na Rory) and 37.Ir (Irians).

       104.Cathal O Connor the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muiredaig Ui Conchobair 41st King of Connacht, died, this year, who was one of the 4 sons of 103.Conor /  Conchobar the previous 38th King of Connacht (Ui Conchobair), and of his brothers, 104.Aed had been the previous 39th King of Connacht, another 104.Mael " Cluiche" had died in 913 AD, and 104.Teague / Tadhg had been the previous 40th King of Connacht. 104.Cathal O Connor was to be the one who would continue their Ui Conchobair male line forward to the O Connor Kings of Ireland through his son; 105.Teague / Tadhg O Connor who now became the Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muiredaig Ui Conchobair 42nd King of Connacht.

926 AD - 1014 AD 105. Brian “Boru/ Boroimhe - of the Tributes was to be 104.Kennedy’s / Ceanedig’s youngest son, who was born this year at Kincora (Ceann Coradh) who was to become the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlough 41st King of Munster and 170th High King of Ireland and the direct ancestor of the Ui mBriain Septs and Kings of Thomond and Ireland and the Mac Mahons of Co. Clare. He was to be married 4 times and have 6 sons, 106.Murrough / Murchad, 106.Teague / Tadhg, 106.Donough / Donnchad, 106.Donnell / Domhnall, 106.Conor / Conchobar and 106.Flann. Of these 6 sons only two, 106.Teague and 106.Donough were to leave any issue. 106.Teague who was to die in 1023 AD is the direct ancestor of the Ui mBriain Septs of Thomond / Northern Munster, the O Briens of the O gCuanach / Cuanad and Eathar Lagh / Clann mBriain of Eathariach in Co. Limerick and Co. Tipperary. 3 of these sons were from his (1st wife), Mor, (1), including 106.Murrough who was to be killed at Clontarf in 1014 AD along with his father and his own son, 107.Turlough, defending Ireland against the Vikings. (2) 106.Conor and (3)106.Flann. From his (2nd wife) Eachraidh, who was a daughter of Carroll / Cerbaill, a son of Oilioll “Fionn,” he had  2 sons, (1) 106.Teague, and (2) 106.Donnell who was also at the battle at Clontarf, but was to be killed later on by the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muiredaig / Sil Murray Sept of Connacht Province during a conflict over sovereignty with them. From his (3rd wife) 110.Gormlaith / Kormloda, who was a sister to 110.Mael “Morda” the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Ui Faelain 45th King of Leinster, he produced 106.Donough who was to become the Dal gCais 42nd King of Munster and marry Driella the daughter of Godwin the Saxon Earl of Kent who was a sister to Harold 11 the last Saxon King of England. He was to rule for 49 years until he was to abdicate and go on a pilgrimage to Rome where he became a monk in St. Stephen’s monastery and died there. Of 106.Donough’s own 2 sons, 107.Lorcan O Brian was to die in 1078 AD and was to be the father of 108.Conor / Conchobar O Brian who was to die also in 1078 AD as the King of Tulcha Oc. His other son, 107.Murrough / Murchad O Brian was to become the 42a King of Munster who was to die in 1068 AD and his son, 108.Brian O Brian who was to die in 1084 AD was to be the 46a King of Munster. (This would see the end of his male line to the Kingship.) 105.Brian "Boru's" daughter from 110.Gormlaith was 106.Sadb who he was to marry to 110.Cian the son of 109.Molloy / Mael "Muad" the previous Heberian Eoghanacht Raithlind Ui Echach Muman Cenel nAeda Cenel mBecce 40th King of Munster and they were to produce 111.Mahon the direct ancestor of the O Mahonys. His (4th wife) was 105.Dubh "Cobhla” who was to die in 1009 AD, who was to be a daughter of 104.Cathal O Connor the Ui Bruin Ai Siol Muiredaig Ui Conchobair 41st King of Connacht. 

926 AD 101.Murtough / Muirchertach mac Niaill, was the son of 100.Niall of the Black Knee the previous 165th King of Ireland from the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "Northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept, and he was now the 33rd King of Ailech in Tir Eogain (The Land of 88.Eogan now known as Co. Tyrone). As the heir apparent / Tanaiste he was to take his position in the scheme of things very seriously and he set about defeationg the Viking Danes at Carlingford / Loch Cuan in the Ulster Province and also at Annagassan in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster. 

927 AD Meanwhile in Normandy, Rollo who was in reality the 1st Duke of Normandy, died, who was to be the Scandinavian Viking founder of the Anglo - Norman dynasties in Normandy and England. This year also saw the demise of Sitric / Sigtrygg "Caoch" - of the Silkbeard, who had ruled as the Viking King of  Dublin, and of York in Albion / England, who had been a son of Brogus the previous Viking King of Dublin and York, who had previously died as a monk.

928 AD 107.Dermot mac Carroll / Cerbaill the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory / Co. Kilkenny, died, this year, who was a son of 106.Carroll / Cerball a previous King of Ossory, and 108.Cuilen mac Kelly / mac Cellaig, who was a son of 107.Kelly / Ceallach also a previous King of Ossory, became the new Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory, in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster, until 933 AD.

     Godfrey another of the the Viking Kings in Ireland plundered the Dunmore Caves in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster in the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla kingdom of Ossory and at least 1,000 people were to lose their lives there.

929 AD Godfrey the Viking King invaded the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla kingdom of Ossory / Co. Kilkenny, again, to expel the grandson of Imhar "Magh Roinne."

929 AD Both the Abbot of Bangor monastery in Co. Down in the south - east of the Ulster Province and  the Abbot of Terryglass / Tir Dha Ghlas (The Land of Two Streams) a monastery in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province, died while in Rome this year.

930 AD 104.Kennedy / Ceann Eidigh, was a son of 103.Lorcan / Fingin the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlough Chief of Thomond / Northern Munster based in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province, who was related to St. Munchin and St. Flannan the Bishop of Killaloe there. 98.Turlough the direct ancestor of their Ui Turlough Sept had been the father of St. Flannan and had himself become a monk at the Lismore monastery in Co. Waterford in the south - east of Munster.  104.Kennedy's sons were to play a major role in the history of the Vikings and Ireland.
