                                                                                  901 AD - 910 AD

901 AD 101.Flann "Sinna" the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "Southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 164th King of Ireland, who was a descendent of 90.Diarmait mac Carroll / Cerbaill the previous 133rd King of Tara / Ireland, commemorated his ancestor's involvement in the construction of the monastery at Clonmacnoise in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster with the Cross of the Scriptures there.

902 AD 103.Finguine "Cenn nGecan" the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil 30th King of Cashel / Munster, died, who was a son of 102.Leary / Laegaire, one of the 2 sons of 101.Dub "da Bairenn," the son of 100.Crundmael descended from 96.Colgan / Colgu the previous 15th King of Cashel / Munster descended from 85.Eoghan "Mor" and 37.Heber "Fionn."

102.Cormac mac Cuilennain became the very reluctant Eoghanacht Chaisil 31st King of Cashel / Munster as he was a very pious man and historian and did not want the position, but was pressured into accepting it. He too tried to restrict the Ui Niaill to Leath Cuinn / Conn's Half and endeavoured to try and stop them from continuing to gain the High Kingship over all of Ireland. He was not from one of the prominent Heberian Eoghanacht dynasties who had reigned up until this time, although he was a Chaisil King. Flaherty / Flaithbertach mac Inmainen from the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Muscraige Sept was the Abbot of Inis Cathaig who acted as his back up and was to follow after him as the King of Cashel / Munster and was to be the last one to be a cleric. It was only during the Viking raids that the Irish Kingships and religion became so involved and this was only in the southern half in Leath Mogha / Mogha's Half. 102.Cormac' mac Cuilennain's male line, from 89.Conall "Corc" the original 1st King of Cashel / Munster, was through another of the 3 sons of 91.Angus / Oengus mac Nad Froich the Chaisil 3rd King of Cashel / Munster, in 92.Bressal, whose male line had never left a Cashel / Munster King at all and who was 11 generations back, and after the demise of 102.Cormac they would never leave another. 102.Cormac mac Cuilennain because of his piety and as the Archbishop of Cashel was especially selected at this time to lead the Eoghanachta through the particular "troubles" they were by now experiencing, due to the disruption to the Irish Brehon Law caused by the continual Viking incursions. 102.Cormac, was a son of 101.Cuilennan, a son of 100.Selbach, a son of 99.Ailgile, a son of 98.Eochy / Eochaidh, a son of 97.Colman, a son of 95.Dunchad, a son of 95.Dub Indrecht, a son of 94.Furudran, a son of 93.Eochy / Eochaidh, a son of 92.Bressal one of the 2 sons of 91.Angus mac Nad Froich, the son of 90.Nad Froich, one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall "Corc" descended from 85.Eoghan "Mor" and 37.Heber "Fionn."

102.Cormac mac Cuilennain the Eoghanacht Chaisil 31st King of Cashel / Munster was to inform 103.Lorcan / Finghin the Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlough Prince of the Dalcassians that they both traced to 84.Ailill / Oilioll "Oluimm," the son of 83.Mug / Mogha "Nuadat" the original Heberian King of Southern Ireland / Mogha's Half. He also advised him of the original decree that had been set down by 84.Ailill "Oluimm" as the 1st King of Munster that the Munster Province was to be alternated between the descendents of his 2 older sons, 85.Eoghan "Mor" and 85.Cormac "Cass" and that previously 7 Kings, who were the direct descendants of 85.Cormac "Cass," the direct ancestor of the Heberian Dal gCais Sept had previously been Kings of Munster. This information was to have a great effect on the Dal gCais Sept later on under 103.Lorcan's son, 104.Kennedy / Cennetig.

The Vikings now under increased pressure from the combined Irish Kings and Chiefs withdrew once again from Dublin in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster, with the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill now in charge of the Irish forces and they retreated from out of Ireland going across to North Wales. The most important churches, which included Armagh in Co. Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province were now associated with the dominant Ui Niaill Septs giving them advice and promoting the overall interests of the Ui Niaill.

903 AD 107.Kelly / Ceallach, the son of 106.Carroll / Cerball, the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster was killed this year in the Battle of Bealach Mughna.

904 AD Colman the Abbot founded Teampall Finghin this year in Co. Longford in the far north - west of Northern Leinster.

905 AD 102.Cormac mac Cuilennain the Eoghanacht Chaisil 31st King of Cashel / Munster was also a Bishop / supervisor of the Catholic Celtic Church and he was skilled in Irish literature, Latin, Greek, Welsh, Anglo / Saxon and the Norse languages and it was during this year when the Vikings overran his fortress on the Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province so the Irish National Assemblies / Oenachs were then held at Glanworth in Co. Cork in Southern Munster.

905 AD  At this time, Clonmacnoise (The Meadow of the son of King Nois) in Co. Offaly in the mid north - west of Southern Leinster, which was situated on the River Shannon there, was a great learning centre of Irish culture, where the teachers had higher skills than others in Astronomy, Geography and Philosophy, which was also conducted in conjunction with the monastic school, and it was also noted by Alfred the Great the Saxon King of Wessex and Charles the Great at Aix - la - Chapple - Aachen.

907 AD 102.Cormac mac Cuilennain the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil 31st King of Cashel / Munster still hoping to stem the ambition of the Ui Niaill Septs to become the overall High Kings of Ireland put a fleet on the River Shannon and besieged their territory in the Midlands / Meath in Northern Leinster and the Connacht Province were he took hostages and was able to defeat the Ui Niaill forces there.

908 AD By this date due to lack of any continuity of any real overall total leadership and the struggles now occurring among the Irish Chiefs there was a great amount of infighting occurring, and the Vikings took this opportunity to gain back all the towns they had previously lost with Erik "Blood Axe," the son of King Harald "Harfagra" of Norway now among the raiders. Sitric the previous Viking King in Dublin also regained Dublin back in the north - east of Southern Leinster, which also gave the Vikings access and some control into the Midlands in Northern Leinster and also the south of Ireland in Mogha's Half. 102.Cormac mac Cuilennain the Eoghanacht Chaisil 31st King of Cashel / Munster invaded Southern Leinster to extend the Heberians authority once more in Mogha's Half, but he was defeated and killed at Belach Mugna / Magh Ailbhe in Co. Carlow in Southern Leinster near Leighlin Bridge, by the combined forces of the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill, and the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Septs of Leinster. This devastated the Eoghanacht Septs in the Munster Province and 101.Flann "Sinna" the "Southern" Ui Niaill 39th King of Ireland had already submitted his kinsman 104.Cathal the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin 41st King of Connacht, and the Ui Niaill supremacy over Ireland was now once again on the up and up. During his leftime,102.Cormac mac Cuilennain acting in his role also as a historian had previously compiled the Saltair of Cashel, a book which still existed up until 1454 AD, but is now lost.

Flaherty / Flaithbertach mac Inmainen became the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Muscraige 32nd King of Munster who had been the adviser to 102.Cormac mac Cuilennain the previous Munster King on the Rock of Cashel,  and this was a clear sign of the loss of any outstanding leaders left among the Heberian Eoghanacht Septs and of what lay ahead for their Eoghanachta dynasties. He had been selected for the same reasons that 102.Cormac had been, for his piety, and he was to be the first and last from the Munster Muscraige Sept.

107.Kelly mac Carroll / Cellach mac Cerbaill the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory, died, who was a son of 106.Carroll / Cerball a previous King of Ossory and 107.Dermot mac Carroll / Diarmait mac Cerbaill became the new King of Ossory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster, until 928 AD, who was another son of 106.Carroll / Cerball,

A Round Tower was now constructed by the monks at the great learning centre at Clonmacnoise in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster, which could be used to escape from the fury of the Vikings and lock away any of their valuables. During the reign of 101.Flann 'Sinna" the "Southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 164th King of Ireland, Colman was the Abbot of Clonmacnoise monastery in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster and between them they built the Great Church / Daimhliag Mor there.

909 AD 107.Carroll / Cerball the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Ui Faelain 34th King of Leinster, died, and his tormented wife, 102.Gormlaith the daughter of 101.Flann “Sinna“ the 164th King of Ireland then married 100.Niall “Glun Dubh“ - of the Black Knee who was the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "Northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 29th / 30th King of Ailech in the Ulster Province and heir - apparent after the demise of her father to the Kingship of Ireland. (100.Niall "Glun Dubh" would become the direct ancestor of all the O Nialls / O Neills of Ulster).

108.Augaire became the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Ui Muiredaig 35th King of Leinster, who was a son of 107.Ailill the previous 31st King of Leinster descended from 103.Murray / Muiredach the 18th King of Leinster the direct ancestor of the Ui Muiredaig Sept there in Leinster.

The Irian Clann na Rory Loigis Septs in Co. Laois / Leix in the north - west of Southern Leinster, who were not all from the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Septs in Leinster still always took their part and held out against the Heberians in Mogha's Half, and were their most favoured vassals. This was a similar arrangement that the Gailenga Sept had with the Cianachta Sept descended from 85.Cian, a brother to 85.Eoghan “Mor“ and 85.Cormac “Cass,“ were to be to the Ui Niaill Septs also. The Loigis were to have 7 Septs of their own with one being the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Ui Enechglais Sept near Arklow and another the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Siol mBrain Sept in the south - west of Co. Wexford in the south - east of Leinster. There was also another Fortuath the Benntraige Sept at Bantry in the Munster Province.

910 AD The continual Viking interference in Ireland was to bring about great upheavals in the Celtic order and during the 10th Century AD the constantly harassed Heremonian Ui Laoghaire  Ui Connla Kings of Ossory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster were to continue to try and gain control over the Kingship of Leinster also for themselves also, as they were always trapped between a rock and a hard place being on the border of Southern Leinster and the Munster Province. 110.Donough / Donnchad mac Gilla Patraic, the direct ancestor of the Fitz Patricks, who was to become one of the Heberian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla Kings of Ossory later on would finally be able to succeed in this endeavour and displace the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Tuath to be actually recognized personally as the King of Leinster.

The Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne Sept, to be represented by the O Rourkes / Ui Ruairc and the O Reillys / Ui Raghallaig, and their kinsmen the Ui Briuin Seola Sept to be represented by the O Flahertys / Ui Flaithbertaig, were to be formidable contestants for the Ui Briuin Kingship of Connacht from now on until the 11th Century AD, but despite this the O Connors from the Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muiredaig Ui Conchobhair Sept were to be the ones who would continue to uphold this particular position until the end.

103.Lorcan / Finghin was a Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlough Chief in their territory in Co Clare in Thomond / Northern Munster who was to be the father of 104.Kenndy / Cennetig the ancestor of the O Kennedys and the Siol mBriain Septs there.
