                                                                                      811 AD - 820 AD

811 AD The Termon - Sanctuary at Tallaght in Co. Dublin was violated by 79.Aed "Oirdnide" the Northern Ui Niall Cenel nEogain 159thth King of Ireland who was besieging Southern Leinster and the community there boycotted the Fair or Oenach at Tailten for imposing on their sanctuary area.

     Nuadu the Abbot of Armagh paid a visit to Connacht with some of the relics of St. Patrick and his Cain Phatraic - Law of Patrick to promote peace.

      101.Diarmait, a grandson of 98.Aed "Roin" the previous Dal Fiatach 19th  King of Ulaid in Ulster had founded a hermitage at Castledermot  - Dysert Diarmata in Co. Kildare in Central Leinster where he was the leader of the religious reformers the Celi De - Culdees, on land given to him by the King of the Cu Corb Ui Bairrche Sept a disciple of St. Comgall. Dysert Diarmata then became a daughter house of the monastery in Bangor in north - east Ulster even though it was in Southern Leinster. 91.St. Columbanus who was originally from Southern Leinster had gone to Bangor to join up with St. Comgall before he had sailed for the Continent way back in 590 AD.

      A Viking raiding party this year were trapped in the north - east of Ulster where they were killed by the Ulaid Septs.

812 AD The Danish Vikings now invaded the Skellig Michael - Scelig Micil monastery in Co. Kerry in south - west Munster, which had been named after the Archangel St. Michael while other Vikings raided the the mainland within Co. Kerry and were defeated by the Eoghanachta Locha Lein Sept and they also carried out a raid in Co. Mayo in mid - west Connacht were they were trapped and killed also by the Ui Briuin Ui Maille Sept. Despite this during this period they were to develop Scandinavian settlements in the northern islands and the Hebrides and this allowed them to be much closer to Ireland and from now on larger Viking forces were to appear. 

     101.Muirgius the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Sil Muiredaig 31st King of Connacht continuing to ensure his authority in Connacht attacked the Calraige Luirg Sept, who were a subject Sept of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Ailello Sept in Connacht and later on laid siege to the southern part of Connacht.

813 AD 105.Muirenn, died, who was the Abbess of Kildare who was a sister to 105.Finsnechta "Cetharderc" the previous 22nd King of Leinster.

814 AD the Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig Sept was again defeated by 105.Kelly - Ceallach and 105.Muiredach, the sons of 104.Bran "Ardchenn“ the previous Ui Dunlainge Ui Muiredaig 21st King of Leinster. 105.Murray - Muiredach had been the 23rd joint King of Leinster by courtesy of 97.Aed "Oirdnide" the Northern Ui Niall Cenel nEogain 159th King of Ireland but he was to die instead. Despite this it would be his male line who would see it out to the end until 1042 AD when 111.Murrough - Murchad who would be descended from him would be the 50th King of Leinster and the last of the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Kings altogether before the Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig Septs were to regain the Kingship back.

814 AD At Howth in Co. Dublin in mid - central Leinster the Oratory of St. Fintan was built and the Holy Well that was there is still in existence  today.

       101.Muirgius the Ui Briuin Ai Sil Muiredaig 31st King of Connacht was situated at Aughrim - Echdruim were he was dependent on the monastery at Clonmacnoise in Co. Offaly in the the territory of the Ui Maine Septs where Mael "Duin" the Bishop - supervisor there was killed so he and Foirchellach the Abbot of Clonmacnoise attacked the Ui Maine Septs south of the River Suck in retaliation and many were killed. 101.Muirgius as the King of Connacht then imposed the Law of Ciaran over Connacht, which was to be his last important act as King.

815 AD 101.Muirgius the Ui Briuin Ai Sil Muiredaig 31st King of Connacht, died, who had been all about expanding the Ui Briuin Ai territory and authority over the Ciarraige Septs and other Septs in Central Connacht and was therefore always up against 97.Aed ”Oirdnide“ the Northern Ui Niall Cenel nEogain 159th King of Ireland. Despite this he had made the Siol Muiredaig - Sil Murray Sept the most dominant one among the Ui Briuin Ai Septs and the Ui Briuin Siol Muiredaig succession to the Kingship of Connacht was to see the sovereignty passed from father to son for seven generations. He was also to be the direct ancestor of the Mac Dermots - Diarmata of Mag Luirg and the Mac Donaghs - Donnchadha of Tir Ailello - The Land of 87.Ailill. He was to be a brother to 101.Diarmait the future 33rd King of Connacht and 101.Finsnechta the future 37th King of Connacht but it would only be his particular male that would continue in the Kingship through his two sons, 102.Cathal the future 34th King of Connacht and especially 102.Teague - Tadhg "Mor." 101.Muirgius was a son of 101.Tomaltach, a son of 99.Murgal, one of the 4 sons of 98.Indrechtach the previous 21st King of Connacht, one of the 2 sons of 97.Murray - Muiredach the 18th King of Connacht the direct ancestor of the Siol Muiredaig Sept.

     100. Mael "Cothaid" became the Ui Briuin Ai Sil Muiredaig Sil Cathail 32nd King of Connacht, who was one of the 2 sons of 99.Fogartach, one of the 4 sons of 98.Cathal the previous 23rd King of Connacht the direct ancestor of the Siol Cathail Sept, who was one of the 2 sons of 97.Murray - Muiredach the 18th King of Connacht the direct ancestor of the Siol Muiredaig - Sil Murray Sept.

       100.Olchobur who may have been or not been the the Eoghanacht Aine Ui Endae 20b King of Munster, died, which was to end his Heberian Eoghanacht Aine male line to the Kingship of Munster altogether as he was a son of 99.Dub "Indrecht," a son of 98.Cathussach, whose father was 97.Uisnech, one of the 2 sons of 96.Mael "Umai," a son of 95.Cuan the previous12th King of Munster descended from 93.Enda the direct ancestor of the Ui Endae Sept. He was a grandson of 91.Ailill the direct ancestor of the Eoghanacht Aine Sept one of the 2 sons of 90.Nad "Froich" the 2nd King of Cashel - Munster one of the 7 sons of Conall "Corc."

      100.Artri became the Eoghanacht Glendamnach 21st King of Cashel - Munster, who was a son of 99.Cathal the previous 19th King of Munster, a son of 98.Finguine the 16th King of Munster, one of the 2 sons of 97.Cathal "Cu Cen Mathair" - Motherless Hound - the 14th King of Munster, a son of 96.Cathal the 10th King of Munster descended from 93.Criffan - Crimthann the 5th King of Munster the direct ancestor of the Glendamnach Septs. He was the first to be ordained as a King on Irish soil by the Catholic Church who now replaced the poets who had previously carried out this ceremony.          

     97.Colman, the brother of 97.Aed "Oirdnide" the Northern Ui Niall Cenel nEogain 159th King of Ireland was killed by the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Northern Ui Niall Cenel Conaill Sept and followers of 91.St. Columbcille went to Tara to curse the King for what had occurred.

816 AD The monastery at Tuamgraney in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Provice was attacked by the Vikings.

817 AD The monks on the island of Iona could take no more of the Viking raids and they left Iona for good setting up permanently at Kells - Ceanannus Mor in Co. Meath in north - east Leinster.

      Mael "Duin," the son of Cenn "Faelad" of Raphoe was killed along with many of St. Columbcille’s followers.

818 AD 100.Mael "Cothaid" was still the Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muiredaig Sio Cathail 32nd King of Connacht.

       The Ui Niaill Septs tried to divide the authority in Southern Leinster to extend their Overlordship there. 

       Cuanu the Abbot of Louth in the far north - east of Leinster took the Shrine of St. Mochta, who had been its founder, into exile to Munster to get away from the fury of 97.Aed "Oirdnide" the Northern Ui Niall 159th King of Ireland.      

819 AD The Vikings carried out attacks in Co. Wexford in the south - east Leinster region and would later set up a trading post there.

     97.Aed "Oirdnide" the Northern Ui Niall Cenel nEogain 159th King of Ireland, who had by now reigned for 25 years, attacked Leinster again and died at Ath Da Fearta in Magh Conaille on the Co. Louth border of Ulster.

     99.Conor - Conchobar became the Southern Ui Niall Clann Cholmain 160th King of Ireland, who was a son of 98.Donough - Donnchad the previous 158th King of Ireland, the son of 97.Donnell - Domnall the 156th King of Ireland, who had been the first from the Clann Cholmain Sept descended from 91.Colman "Mor" the 6th King of Meath, who was one of the 3 sons of 90.Diamait the 133rd King of Tara - Ireland.

       100.Carroll - Cairell the Dal Fiatach 25th King of Ulaid in the north - east of Ulster, died, who was one of the 2 sons of 99.Fiachnae the previous 22nd King of Ulaid who was descended from 95.Mael "Cobo" the 13th King of the Ulaid. His particular male line ended with his death but it was still to be carried forward to the Kingships through his brother, 100.Eochy - Eochaidh the previous 24th King of Ulaid.  

      102.Mael "Bressail" became the Dal nAraidi Ui Echach Cobo 26th King of Ulaid in the north - east of Ulster, who was a son of 101.Ailill a previous Ui Echach Cobo King, the son of 100.Felim - Fedelmid, a son of 99.Mael "Cothaig," one of the 2 sons of 98.Fergus the previous 16th King of Ulaid descended from 91.Eochy - Echu one of the 3 sons of 90.Crond "Ba Drui."   

820 AD The Celtic High Crosses of Kilree - Cill Ri - The King's Church - and Killamery - Cill Lamhrai - Lambrach's Church  in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Leinster were constructed this year.
