692 AD 98.Fergus the Irian 16th King of Ulaid in the east of the Ulster Province, died, whose father was 97.Aedan the Ui Echach Cobo King descended from 91.Eochy / Echu the direct ancestor of the Ui Echach Cobo Sept who one of the 3 sons of 90.Crond "Ba Drui." He had been be the father of 99.Mael "Cothaig" who would become the direct ancestor of 102.Mael "Bressail” also to be a Ui Echach Cobo King and also the future 26th King of Ulaid. His other son, 99.Bressal, who had predeceased him, would become the direct ancestor of 104.Aitith also to be a Ui Echach Cobo King and the future 36th King of Ulaid.

          97.Becc "Bairrche" became the Dal Fiatach 17th King of Ulaid in the north - east of Ulster Province, who was a son of 96.Blathmac the previous 14th King of Ulaid, one of the two sons of 95.Mael "Cobo" the 13th King of Ulaid descended from 92.Carroll / Cairell the previous 3rd King of Ulaid, one of the 2 sons of 91.Murray / Muiredach "Muinderg" the 1st King of Ulaid one of the two sons of 90.Forgg mac Dallain.  

693 AD 101.Bran "Mut" the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge 12th King of Leinster, died, who was a son of 100.Conall, the son of 99.Faelan the 10th King of Leinster descended from 94.Dunlaing the direct ancestor of the Ui Dunlainge Sept, a  grandson of 92.Bressal "Belach" the 1st King of Leinster who was descended from 84.Cu "Corb." His son, 102.Murrough / Murchad would become the 14th King of Leinster and would produce 4 sons who would be Leinster Kings in their own right and go on to produce 3 distinct Septs the Ui Dunchada, the Ui Faelain and the Ui Muiredaig. These 3 Septs would all then continue to persist in the Kingship of Leinster until 112.Murrough / Murchad would become the 50th King of Leinster in 1036 AD who would die in 1042 AD ending their Ui Dunlaing male line altogether. 

695 AD The Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill had continued to claim the tribute / boroihm - originally imposed on Southern Leinster by 78.Tuathal “Teachtmhar" the 108th King of Tara / Ireland for the death of his 2 daughters in the 1st Century AD by the then King of Leinster. It had later been reinforced by his descendant, 82.Cormac mac Airt the 115th King of Tara / Ireland also in the 2nd Century AD for the terrible slaughter of all those innocent girls carried out at Tara by 92.Dunlaing the Cu Corb Prince of Leinster who is the direct ancestor of the Ui Dunlainge Sept. This year, 93.Finsnechta “Fledach“ / Snow of Wine - who was now the "Southern" Ui Niaill Sil nAedo Slaine 148th King of Ireland, the son of 92.Dunchad, was told by his kinsman, St. Adomnan that the end of the World was coming on the following Monday so he granted St. Moling a remission of the tribute on Southern Leinster until then. After Monday had come and gone he turned on St. Moling who cursed him, and he was to be eventually killed by his own kinsman at the Battle of Greallach Dollaith by 94.Aedh the Fir Chul King who was a son of 93.Dluthach, the son of 92.Ailill the direct ancestor of the Sil nAedo Slaine Fir / Feara Chul Breg Sept, a brother to 92.Dunchad as both were sons 91.Aed "Slaine." He was assisted by his cousin, 94.Congalach the Siol nAedo Slaine 10th King of Brega, who was a son of 93.Conaing "Cuirrc" the previous 6th King of Brega, a son of 92.Congal the 3rd King of Brega, another of the 4 sons of 91.Aed "Slaine" the previous joint 139th King of Ireland and "Southern" Ui Niaill 1st King of Brega. With the recent demise of 93.Finsnechta "Fledach" and his son, 94.Breasal who was also killed in the battle their particular male line from his father, 92.Dunchad to the Kingship originally also through 90.Diarmait mac Carroll / Cerbaill the 133rd King of Tara / Ireland, a grandson of 88.Conall "Cremthainne" one of the 8 sons of 87.Niall of the Nine Hostages the 126th King of Tara / Ireland, was also brought to an abrupt end.

      95.Lynch / Loingsech mac Oengusso now became the "Northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill 149th King of Ireland until 704 AD whose father was 94.Angus / Oengus, a son of 93.Donnell / Domhnall mac Aedo the previous 143rd King of Ireland who was a son of 92.Aed mac Ainmerech the 138th King of Ireland, a son of 91.Ainmire the 135th King of Ireland descending from 88.Conal "Gulban"  another of the 8 sons of 87.Niall of the Nine Hostages the 126th King of Tara / Ireland.

695 AD The Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn 3 Colla territory of Magh Muirthemne in Southern Ulster was devastated by the Britons and the men of Ulaid during this year.

695/6 AD 98.Finguine the Heberian Eoghanacht 16th King of Munster, died, who was a son of 97.Cathal "Cu cen Mathair" / the Motherless Hound the previous 14th King of Munster descended from 93.Criffan / Crimthann "Srem Feimin" the 5th King of Munster the direct ancestor of the Glendamnach Septs. (His brother, 98.Ailill became the Glendamnach 16a King of Cashel / Munster.) 98.Finguine was to be the father of 99.Cathal who would become the future 19th King of Munster, whose son, 100.Artri would also become the future 21st King of Munster and in turn become the father of 101.Toole / Tuathal the future 21a King of Munster.

      St. Adomnan held a Synod at the prehistoric Rath of Tara in Co. Meath in the south - east of Northern Leinster.

696 / 8 AD The Battle of Tulach Garraisc occurred at Farney / Fearnmhagh in Co. Monaghan in the south - west of the Ulster Province and Conor / Conchobar "Macha" the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Colla da Crioch Airthir / Airtheara Oriors King, who was a son of Mael "Duin," along with his ally Aed "Aired" the Irian Dal nAraidi King were killed.

      St. Moling / St. Mullins, died, who had founded the monastery of St. Mullins near Barrow in Co. Waterford in the south - east of the Munster Province.

      94.Congalach the "Southern" Ui Niaill Sil nAedo Slaine 10th King of Brega, died, who was a son of 93.Conaing "Cuirrc" the previous 6th King of Brega, a son of 92.Congal the 3rd King of Brega who was one of the 5 sons of 91.Aed “Slaine” the previous joint 139th King of Tara / Ireland. His male line from 88.Conall "Cremthainne" one of the 8 sons of 87.Niall of the Nine Hostages the 126th King of Tara / Ireland was to only produce one King of Ireland much later on in 101.Congalach "Cnogba" the future 168th King of Ireland.

696 / 7 AD 97.Fergal "Aidni" the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "Southern" Ui Fiachrach 17th King of Connacht, died, who was a son of 96.Artgal one of the 5 sons of 95.Guaire "Aidni"  the previous 14th King of Connacht descended from 89.Eochy / Echu the direct ancestor of the Southern Ui Fiachrach Aidni Septs and his other grandson, 97.Ecomras, a son of one of his other sons, 96.Congal, was also killed. This was to see an end to the "Southern" Ui Fiachrach male line altogether to the Kingship descending from 87.Fiachra the King of Connacht one of the sons of 86.Eochy "Mugmedon" the 124th King of Tara / Ireland.

      97.Murray / Muiredach "Muillethan" became the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 18th King of Connacht  who was a son of 96.Fergus / Muirgius, the son of 95.Reilly / Ragallach the previous 12th King of Connacht descended from 90.Murray / Muiredach "Mal" the direct ancestor of the Ui Briuin Ai Septs who was one of the 2 sons of 89.Eogan "Srem," one of the 2 sons of 88.Daui "Tenga Uma" / of the Sweet Tongue - the 3rd King of Connacht, the son of 87.Brion the King of Connacht. 97.Murray / Muiredach would become the direct ancestor of the Siol Muiredaig / Sil Murray Sept who would provide most of the future Kings of Connacht and eventually 2 Kings of Ireland.

       With the weakening of the authority of the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Maine Septs and especially that of the "Southern" Ui Fiachrach Septs in Southern Connacht closer relations were by now evolving between them and their southern neighbours the Heberian Dal gCais Septs who had secured most of the territory there in the south in Co. Clare, which was by now made part of the north - west of the Munster Province. Geographically Co. Clare is on the western side of the River Shannon where it was originally physically part of Southern Connacht until 315 AD when 89.Lewy / Lughaidh "Men" the Heberian King of Northern Munster, descended from 85.Cormac "Cass" the 2nd King of Munster, secured it from the Fir Bolg tribes there and made it part of the territory of Thomond / Northern Munster. The ties between these particular Milesian Gaelic Septs were to grow stronger over the ensuing years due to their close proximity, reliance and intermarriage. The "Southern" Ui Fiachrach, and the Ui Maine Septs who over time were to move further south, due to the expansion of the Ui Briuin Septs in the Connacht Province, were to be the only other two Irish Septs who were to support 105.Brian "Boru" / of the Tributes the Heberian Dalcassian 170th High King of Ireland at the Battle at Clontarf in 1014 AD against the all out Scandinavian Invasion when 7,000 Vikings and their allies in Southern Leinster would be slain.  

      The Law of Adomnan / Cain Adomnain - was proclaimed for all of Ireland at Birr in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster by the Abbot of Raphoe, which was designed to protect the lives of "The Innocents" - the women, children and the clerics, during the outbreaks of war, which is now known in Latin as Lex Innocentium. 

     Ferdar the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Muscraige Scottii King of Lorn in Dal Riada in the Highlands of Scotland, died, and was from the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Clann Chattan and Ferchar the Long the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Scottii King of Dal Riada also died. 94.Eochy / Eochaidh became the new Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Muscraige Scottii King of Dal Riada, who was a son of 93.Aed, the son of 92.Domhanghart the previous Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Muscraige Scottii King of Dal Riada who had died in 673 AD.

      Mael "Fothardach" mac MaeleDubh from the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Colla da Crioch Ui Cremthainn Sept in Southern Ulster, died, who was the King of Orghialla / Airghialla / Oriel who was to be the only one from that Sept.    

698 AD Fianamail Ua Dunchada the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Muscraige Scottii King of Dal Riada and Flann, the son of Cenn "Faelad" / "Ceannfaeladh," the son of 92.Sweeney / Suibhne "Mend," the previous "Northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 142nd King of Tara / Ireland were killed and Aurthuile Ua Crunnmaeil the King of the Cenel nEogain Sept was driven out as their Chief into Albion / Briton.

     St. Fechine / Mo - Ecca founded a monastery at Fore near Ard - Oilean in Co. Galway in the south - west of Connacht, which is still in existence today. 

      Ainbhcellach the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Muscraige Scottii King of Dal Riada was deposed who was a descendent of Ferchar the Long the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Muscraige Scottii King of Dal Riada who died in 697 AD.

698 / 701 AD 98.Ailill the Eoghanacht Glendamnach 16a King of Cashel / Munster, died, who was the son of 97.Cathal "Cu Cen Mathair" the previous 14th King of Munster, descended from 93.Criffan / Crimthann "Srem Feimin" the 5th King of Cashel / Munster, the direct ancestor of the Glendamnach Sept, who was one of the two sons of 92.Eochy / Eochaidh the 4th King of Munster, a son of 91.Angus / Oengus mac Nad Froich the Chaisil 3rd King of Munster. This was to bring to an end his particular male line to the Kingship of Cashel / Munster.

     97.Eterscel became the Eoghanacht Aine Ui Endae 17th King of Cashel / Munster, who was a son of 96.Mael "Umai," a son of 95.Cuan the previous 12th King of Cashel / Munster, a son of 94.Almalgaid the 8th King of Cashel / Munster, one of the 2 sons of 93.Enda the direct ancestor of the Ui Endae Sept who was a grandson of 91.Ailill the direct ancestor of the Aine Sept who was a grandson of 89.Conall "Corc."  

699 AD The Abbot Muirchu wrote a history of  St. Patrick's life, which included his Confessio. 

      The Book of Durrow, which is 5 1/2" x 6 1/2," was produced at Durrow / Dairmag / The Plain of the Oak, which was a monastery founded originally by 91.St. Columbcille / St. Columba, who held that particular monastery dearest to his heart, the remains of which have since been totally destroyed. The Book of Durrow contains the Gospels inscribed by the monks at Durrow Abbey in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster and can now be seen at Trinity College Library in Dublin, while the Crozier of Durrow is now in the National Museum. The Book of Dimna was also written during the 7th Century AD in the Abbey at Roscrae in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province, which also included the Gospels in Latin.

     The Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn 3 Colla Conaille Muirthemne Septs in the north of Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster had formed a kingdom in the Ulster Province with others in the Ards, and Armagh who had by now won the Celtic Catholic Church Primacy with the Ui Niaill Septs now claiming to be the High Kings of Ireland. During the previous two Centuries the Ui Niaill Septs had changed the sites of their Kingships but they were now more then ready to further consolidate their position over the Kingship of Tara / Ireland.

700 AD St. Tola the Bishop of Clonard / High Meadow - in Meath in the south - east of Northern Leinster built the Dysert / Hermitage O Dea Church in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province situated 3 miles from Corofin and 7 miles from Ennis just off of the Clonrush Road where today his 12th Century AD White Cross can still be seen there east of the church. The present building dates mostly from the 12th Century AD with it's Romanesque doorway containing 12 human and 7 animal head figurines and at it's north - western corner are the remains of a Round Tower.

      In the north west of Dingle in Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster Province the boat shaped Oratory of Galerus was constructed, which is similar to the Egyptian Christian buildings and the Greek Treasury at Atreus.  shop of Clon Ard / High Meadow built the Dysert / Hermitage O Dea Church in Co. Clare situated 3 miles from Corofin and 7 mil from Ennis. It is just off the Clon Rush Road were today his 12 Century White Cross can still be seen there east of the church. The present a Round Tower.
