662 AD 96.Maenach the Eoghanacht Chaisil 13th King of Cashel - Munster, died who was a son of 95.Fingen the previous 9th King of Munster descended from 92.Felim - Fedelmid the 4a King of Munster, one of the 3 sons of 91.Angus - Oengus mac Nad Froich the 3rd King of Munster the direct ancestor of all the Eoghanacht Chaisil, Aine, Airthir Chliach & Glendamnach Septs who was a grandson of 89.Conall "Corc." His male line would be continued on through his grandson 98.Cormac who would become the future 18th King of Munster.

     97.Cathal "Cu - cen - Mathair"- the Motherless hound - became the 14th King of Cashel - Munster, who was a son of 96.Cathal the previous Eoghanacht Glendamnach 10th King of Munster, a grandson son of 94.Coirpre - Cairbre "Cromm" the 6th King of Munster a son of 93.Criffan - Crimthann "Srem Feimin" the 5th King of Munster the direct ancestor of the Glendamnach Sept, the son of 92.Eochy - Eochaidh the 4th King of Munster another of the 3 sons of 91.Angus - Oengus mac Nad Froich.

     Mael "Duin" the King of Durlas, died, who was the son of Furadhran.

     Mael "Fuataigh" the Cianachta King, the son of Ernaine, was killed who was descended from 85.Cian one of the 3 sons of 84.Ailill "Oluimm" the Heberian 1st King of Munster.

662 AD A battle occurred at Ogamhain near Ceann Corbadain involving 92.Diarmait & 92.Blathmac the Southern Ui Niall Sil nAedo Slaine joint 145th Kings of Ireland, who were two of the sons of 91.Aed "Slaine," with Onchu a son of Saran, Mael "Milchon," and Casey - Cathasach, the son of Eimhin, over 93.Conaing "Cuirre" the 6th King of Brega, a son of 92.Congal another of the sons of 91.Aed "Slaine," was killed along with Ultan the Cianachta King, the son of Ernaine, Ceannfaeladh the Cianachta Arda King, the son of Geirtidi, and Faelchu the son of Mael "Umha. 93.Conaing "Currie" was to become the direct ancestor of the Southern Ui Niall Sil nAedo Slaine Kings of North Brega - Knowth - Cnodhbha in Meath and his 2 sons where to leave two Kings of Ireland in 95.Cinaed - Kenneth the 153rd, and 101.Congalach "Cnogba" the 168th, and he was also to be the ancestor of the Kings of Knowth & North Brega in the north - east of Leinster. Throughout the 7th - 10th Century AD his descendants in North Brega were to continue to mostly begin their names with the letter C with Conaing originally derived from Cynyng - King an Anglo Saxon term.

663 AD 95.Guaire "Aidni" the Southern Ui Fiachrach Aidni 14th King of Connacht, died, whose father was 94.Colman mac Coffey - Cobthaig the previous 11th King of Connacht descended from 89.Eochy - Echu the direct ancestor of the Southern Ui Fiachrach Aidni Sept, a son of Nathi the 124th King of Tara - Ireland after 87.Niall, who was a son of his half - brother, 87.Fiachra the direct ancestor of the Ui Fiachrach Septs. 95.Guaire "Aidni" left behind 5 sons, 96.Artgal the father of 97.Fergal "Aidni" who would become the future 17th King of Connacht, 96.Kelly - Cellach,  96.Airmedach, 96.Congal and his other son;

     96.Murtough - Muirchertach "Nar" who became the Southern Ui Fiachrach Aidni 15th King of Connacht ,

664  AD Oswiu - Oswry the Teutonic King of Northumbria held the Synod of Whitby in Britain, as it was closer to Rome, to demand the Catholic Celtic Church customs be set aside to conform with the Roman Easter. This was argued against by St. Colman the Bishop of Lindisfarne who put forward the Irish case citing 91.St. Columbcille - Columba against Peter. Oswry decided for the Roman Easter date, which the Celtic Irish would not accept and St. Colman retired from Lindisfarne to Co. Mayo - Maigh Eo - Plain of the Yew Trees - in mid - western Connacht were he founded a monastery for students from all over Europe and the ruins are still there to be seen.     

        The Teutonic Anglo - Saxons now attacked the north of England and all of the ethics of Christianity sown there by 91.Columbcille - Columba and his followers disintegrated and the Pope could get no one who was willing to risk going to Canterbury and due to the ongoing constant harassment the Irish monks also left Lindisfarne and eventually took St. Cuthbert’s remains to Durham were they built a Church over them.

       A great Plague once again occurred in Ireland and the Albion - England scholars who were attending Bangor Monastery founded by St. Comgall on the outer shore of Belfast Loch in Co. Down on the south - east coast of Ulster, where up to 3,000 students attended, left, but they were to continue to attend there later on up until the end of the 7th Century AD.

665 AD 92.Diarmait & 92.Blathmac the Southern Ui Niall Sil nAedo Slaine 145th joint Kings of Ireland both died this same year from the Buidhe Connail - Yellow Plague, which also killed many thousands of people and both were sons of 91.Aed "Slaine" the previous 139th joint King of Ireland descended from 88.Conall "Cremthainne" one of the 8 sons of 87.Niall. 92.Diarmait was interred at the monastery at Clonmacnoise in Co. Offaly in mid - western Leinster.

      93.Seachnasach the 7th King of Brega from the Sil nAedo Slaine Sept became the 146th joint King of Ireland with his brother, 93.Kennelly - Cenn "Faelad" the 8th King of Brega who were both sons of 92.Blathmac the previous Southern Ui Niall 145th joint King of Ireland.

       Mael "Caech" the 9th ? King of the Dal nAraidi Sept descended from 94.Baetan the 5b King of the Dal nAraidi Sept  who are descended from 90.Crond "Ba Drui"  & 37.Ir, died this year as did Mael "Duin" the Cenel Coirpre King, who was a son of Scannal and 97.Duibhinnreacht the Ui Briuin King, who was a son of 96.Dunchad.

     Talamnach mac Laidcind the Corco Baiscind King in the south of Connacht in the north - west of Co. Clare, descended from 37.Ir was killed in battle at Loch Fen - Loughfane in Co. Limerick in the north - west of Munster during a conflict between Connacht and Munster.

        96.Colgu - Colcu became the Eoghanacht Chaisil 15th King of Cashel - Munster, who was one of the two sons of 95.Failbe "Fland" the previous 11th King of Munster descended from 92.Felim - Fedelmid the 4a King of Munster descended from 91.Angus - Oengus mac Nad Froich the 3rd King of Munster the grandson of 89.Conall "Corc."

      Mael "Bressal" mac Maele Duin, died, who was the Heremonian 3 Colla King of the Mugdorna Sept in Southern Ulster.

666 AD 96.Eochy - Eochaidh "Iarlaithe" the 10th King of the Dal nAraidi Sept in Ulaid, died, who was one of the two sons of 95.Fiachnae "Lurgan" the previous 9th King of Ulaid, a grandson of 93.Eochy - Eochaidh the 4th King of Ulaid descended from 91.Coelub one of the 3 sons of 90.Crond "Ba Drui " whose male line had produced the Dal nAraidi Kings.

      99.Faelan mac Colman the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge 10th King of Leinster, died, who was a son of 98.Colman "Mor" the previous 6c King of Leinster who was a descendent of 95.Ailill the 6th King of Leinster who was a son of 94.Dunlaing the direct ancestor of the Ui Dunlainge Sept and it would be only through his son, 100.Conall that the Ui Dunlainge male line would be continued on to 111. Murrough - Murchad the future 50th King of Leinster in the early 11th Century AD prior to the Anglo - Norman Invasion.

667 AD The Battle of Aine occurred in Munster between the Eoghanacht Aradha Septs and the Ui Fidgeinti Septs and 97.Eoganan the Eoghanacht Ui Coirpre Aebda King was killed, who was a son of 96.Crundmael, a son of 95.Aed, a son of 94.Angus - Oengus "Lappae," a son of 93.Ailill "Cendfota,” a a son of 92.Ercc the son of 91.Coirpre the direct ancestor of the Ui Coirpre Aebda Sept. He was one of the two sons of 90.Brion the son of 89.Fiachu "Fidgennid" the direct ancestor of the Ui Fidgeinti Sept and Ui Chonaill Gabhra Septs who had carried their line forward through 88.Maine "Munchain" from 85.Eoghan "Mor."

668 AD 96.Murtough - Muirchertach "Nar" the Southern Ui Fiachrach 15th King of Connacht, died, who was a son of 96.Guaire "Aidni" the previous 14th King of Connacht descended from 89.Eochy - Echu, the son of 88.Nathi the 127th King of Tara - Ireland after 87.Niall, who was a son of his half - brother, 87. Fiachra the direct ancestor of the Ui Fiachrach Septs.

      92.Cenn "Faelad" became the 15th King of Connacht, who was a son 91.Colgu - Colgan, a son of 90.Aed the son of 89.Senach the direct ancestor of the Ui Briuin Seola Sept who was one of the two sons of 88.Daui "Tenga Uma" - of the Sweet Tongue the 128th King of Tara - Ireland the son of 87.Brion the direct ancestor of the Ui Briuin Septs and a brother to 87.Fiachra and half - brother to 87.Niall.  

     93.Cernach - "Sotal" the Arrogant, died, who was the son of 92.Diarmait the previous Southern Ui Niall Sil nAedo Slaine joint 145th King of Ireland, His son 94.Niall would become the father of 95.Fogartach the future 152nd King of Ireland and the direct ancestor of the Kings of Lagore - South Brega in Meath in the north - east of Leinster.

      Mael "Fothartaigh" - Foharty the King of the Cenel Tuirtre, died.

      The magnificent Ardagh Chalice was created and although it was only 7 " high it was very heavy due to being composed of 354 separate pieces of gold, silver, bronze, brass, copper and lead and it needed 2 hands to lift it and it would be re - discovered buried much later on by boys digging potatoes near Ardagh in Co. Limerick in the north - west of Munster.  

       St. Mura aka Murchad who was from the Northern Ui Niall Cenel nEogain Sept had been the Abbot at Fahan at Inishowen and he had become the Patron Saint of the Northern Ui Niaill in Northern Ulster and the Cathach of 91.St. Columbcille - Columba was to be carried by them and their kinsman the Northern Ui Niall Cenel Conaill O Donnells into battle. 

      St. Carthach - Carthy had founded a monastery at Lismore in Co. Waterford in the south - east of Munster were there were eventually 20 buildings to be erected there and this was were the Saxon Christian King Alfred the Great was to also study under St. Colman Mac Duagh - Duach.

669 AD Bran "Finn" the Deisi King of Munster, who was a son of Mael "Ochtraigh," was killed.

      95.Seachnasach the Southern Ui Niall Sil nAedo Slaine 146th joint King of Ireland, who was a son of 94.Blathmac the previous 145th joint King of Ireland was killed by Dubh "Duin" the Southern Ui Niall Cenel Cairbre King descended from 88.Coirpre one of the 8 sons of 87.Niall. This was the end of his particular male line from 88.Conal "Cremthainne" but 95.Ceannfaeladh - Cenn "Faelad" his brother, who was the 146th joint King of Ireland with him was to survive until 675 AD.

670 AD Dungal the Cenel Boghaine King, the son of Mael "Tuile," was killed by 95.Lynch - Loingseach the Cenel Conaill King who was a son of 94.Angus - Oenghus the son of 93.Donnell - Domnall mac Aedo the previous 143rd King of Ireland.

      St. Fiachra was born.

      96.Blathmac from the Dal Fiatach Sept who was the 14th King of Ulaid, died, who was a son of 95.Mael "Cobo" the previous 13th King of Ulaid and the male line to the Kingship would be carried forward by his son, 97.Becc "Bairrche" the future 17th King of Ulaid. 96.Blathmac  was also a brother to 96.Angus - Oengus whose line was to produce the Dal Fiatach Leth Cathal Sept.
