641 AD *97.Cathal the oldest son of, *96.Aodh "Caomh"-  the Comely or the Gentle the Heberian Dal gCais King of Munster and the first Christian King of the Family, had two sons including; *98.Turlough - Toirdhealbhach who was his eldest son who was born this year who is the direct ancestor of the Ui Turlough Sept who was to also be the father of 2 sons who left issue including, 99.Ailgenan - Ailgheanan the direct ancestor of the O Mearas, O Scanlan and the Mac Arthurs of Co. Limerick in the mid- north - west of the Munster Province.

641 AD Mael "Breasail" & Mael "Anfaidh" died this year and Flann "Enaigh” was also killed who was from the Northern Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill Sept.  

641 AD 95.Cuan the Eoghanacht Ui Aine Ui Endae12th King of Cashel - Munster, the son of 94.Amalgaid - Awley the previous 8b King of Munster was slain at the Battle of Carn Conaill, along with another Cuan who was the son of Conall the Ui Fidgeinti King, while supporting 95.Guaire "Aidni" the Southern Ui Fiachrach Prince. The battle occurred near Gort in 95.Guaire's territory in Connacht brought on by 92.Dermot - Diarmait mac Aedo the 5th King of Brega, one of the two surviving sons of 91.Aed “Slaine” who had come to do battle via the religious centre of Clonmacnoise in Co. Offaly in mid - western Leinster. Tolamhnach the Heberian Eoghanacht Ui Liathain King was also killed and 95.Guaire was driven off. 95.Guaire "Aidni" had previously sent Cuimmine "Fota" the Abbot of Clonfert in Connacht to seek a truce although his Connacht forces were stronger but 92.Diarmait had refused leaving it up to the will of God. 95.Guaire "Aidni" afterwards went to 92.Diarmait to submit and offer all he had left, which was only his shirt to the Cele De cleric and 92.Diarmait told him that he has also submitted to God's son and made peace. 95.Cuan's male line from his grandfather, 93.Enda the direct ancestor of the Ui Endae Sept, and also through his grandfather, 91.Ailill the direct ancestor of the Eoghanacht Aine Sept from 85.Eoghan "Mor" would continue on through his son, 96.Mael "Umai" to produce future Kings of Munster. 

     96.Maenach became the new 13th King of Cashel - Munster, who was a son of 95.Fingen the previous Eoghanacht Chaisil 9th King of Munster, a son of 94.Aed "Dubh," a son of 93.Criffan - Crimthann, a son of 92.Felim - Fedelmid the 4a King of Munster descended from 89.Conal "Corc." 

642 AD Furadan the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Mac Uais King, died this year, from the 3 Colla kingdom of Orghialla - Airghialla - Oriel in Southern Ulster, who was a son of Bec, the son of Cuanach.

     93.Donnell - Domnall mac Aedo the Northern Ui Niall Cenel Conaill 143rd King of Ireland, died at Ard Fothadh in Tir Aedo in Northern Ulster who had been sick for a year and he was the first to be honoured as such in the Annals of Ulster and his father had been 92.Aed mac Ainmerech the previous 138th King of Ireland descended from 88.Conall "Gulban." One of his sons, 94.Angus - Oengus was to produce 95.Lynch - Loingsech the future 150th King of Ireland who was to also be the father of 96.Flaherty - Flaithbertach the 155th King of Ireland. His other son, 94.Fergus "Fanat" was to be the father of 95.Congal "Cendmagair" the future 151st King of Ireland.  

      94.Conal "Cael" & 94.Kelly - Ceallach became the Northern Ui Niall Cenel Conaill joint 144th Kings of Ireland, who were both sons of 93.Mael "Cobo" the previous Cenel Conaill 142nd King of Ireland descended from 88.Conal "Gulban."    

     For the next two hundred years the Northern Ui Niall Cenel nEogain Sept were to advance their territory further in Northern Ulster as since the battle of Moin Dairi Lothair they had crossed to Magillian's Point in the north of Co. Derry from Inishowen - Inis Eogain. They also continued to push southwards, first driving the Dal nAraidi Sept to the east of the River Bann and then gaining control over Keenaught in the Cianachta territory in mid - Derry and also encroached on the territory of their Heremonian kinsmen the 3 Colla Ui Mac Uais Sept in Orghialla - Airghialla - Oriel in Central Southern Ulster.

     St. Finnbar founded a monastery and a Holy Well at Gourgane in Co. Cork in Southern Munster were he later became the patron of the diocese there. St. Caimmine built his Churches on the Holy Island - Inish Cealtra on Loch Derg in Co. Clare in the north - west of Munster where he was the Abbot, and it was to be later restored by 105.Brian “Boru” - of the Tributes - the Heberian Dal gCais 170th High King of Ireland in the early 11th Century AD.

 644 AD 95.Dunchad from the Dal Fiatach Sept the 12th King of Ulaid - Ulster, died, who was a son of 94.Fiachnae the previous 10th King of Ulaid descended from 91.Murray - Muiredach "Muinderg the 1st Dal Fiatach King of Ulaid, the son of 90.Forgg mac Dallain. His son, 96.Congal "Cendfota" would become the future 15th King of Ulaid. 95.Mael "Cobo" became the Dal Fiatach 13th King of Ulaid, who was  a brother to 95.Dunchad the previous 12th King of Ulaid, and another of the 2 sons of 94.Fiachnae the previous 10th King of Ulaid,

646 AD 97.Scandal the 8a King of the Dal nAraidi, died, who was a son of 96.Becc, a son of 95.Fiachra "Caech," a brother to 95.Fiachnae "Lurgan" the previous 9th King of Ulaid who were both sons of 94.Baetan descended from their direct ancestor 90.Crond “Ba Drui.” His son, 98.Dungal "Eilni" who was to become the 13th King of the Dal nAraidi was to be the father of 99.Chu "Chuaran" the future 17th King of the Dal nAraidi and the 18th King of Ulaid.  HIs other son, 99.Ailill was to become the 15th King of the Dal nAraidi who was to be the father of 100.Cathussach the future 23rd King of the Dal nAraidi and the 20th King of Ulaid.    

647 AD 95.Mael "Cobo" from the Dal Fiatach Sept who was the 13th King of Ulaid, died, whose father was 94.Fiachnae the previous 10th King of Ulaid, and their male line from 90.Forgg mac Dallain was to continue on to the Kingship through his son,  96.Blathmac  who became the new 14th King of Ulaid, and his other son, 96.Angus - Oengus was to produce the Leth Cathal Sept.  

648 AD The Battle of Cuil Corra occurred under Aeleith & Onchu in which Cillene the Ui Failghe Offaly King, a son of Forannan was killed.

649 AD The Battle of Airther Seola was to occur in Connacht by 92.Ceannfaeladh a Prince of the Ui Briuin Seola Sept, the son of 91.Colgan - Colgu and 96.Maenach the Ui Briuin Breifne King the son of 95.Baethine, and Marcan the Ui Maine King, the son of Toimen was killed. Fergus - Fearghus the son of Donnell - Domnall and 96.Fergus - Fearghus the son of 95.Reilly - Raghallach mac Uatach the 12th King of Connacht and Aedh "Beathra," a son of Cuimin were killed by the Southern Ui Fiachrach Aidni Sept.

     93.Maeldoid the Southern Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain King of Meath, the son of 92.Sweeney - Suibhne the previous 8th King of Meath, died.

     95.Reilly - Raghallach mac Uatach the 12th King of Connacht, the son of 94,Uatu mac Aedo the previous Ui Briuin Ai 9th King of Connacht  was killed by Mael "Brighde," the son of Mothlachan and the Corco Cullu Sept who were an Aithech Tuath of the Ciarraige who were still a major group in the Ui Briuin territory of Magh nAi. 95.Reilly's wife, Muiren had been advised by a Druid that he would be killed by his own offspring and she was to have a daughter by him, which he had discarded, but later on he had brought her back to his court taking her as his concubine and because of this Muiren beseeched her foster son, 92.Diarmait mac Aedo the Southern Ui Niaill Sil nAedo Prince and the Saints of Ireland to curse him. The Baslick - Baslec - were an early Patrician foundation in Magh nAi held by the Ciarraige until the end of the 8th Century AD and this was were 95.Reilly - Ragallach was to be interred. The Ui Briuin expansion further to the west was to actually come after the demise of the next member of their Family who would achieve the over - kingship of Connacht. 95.Reilly - Ragallach was to be the father of 3 sons who would continue on their male line, 96.Kelly - Ceallach would become the future 19th King of Connacht. 96.Cathal would become the father of 97.Donnell - Domnall the future 21a King of Connacht. 96.Fergus aka 96.Muirgius was to be the father of 97.Murray - Muiredach "Muillethan" the future 18th King of Connacht and the direct ancestor of the Siol Muiredaig - Sil Murray Sept who would survive until after the Anglo - Norman Invasion as the O Connors - Ui Conchobair Sept.  

650 AD The Battle of Fleascach by 93.Crundmael the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King in Northern Ulster, the son of 92.Suibhne - Sweeney and Cumascach the Heremonian Dal Cuinn 3 Colla Ui Cremthainn King in Orghialla - Airghialla - Oriel in Southern Ulster was killed who was the son of Ailill - Oilioll descended from 85.Colla "Fo Chrith."

      St. Mullin's Church was erected this year just across the Co. Kilkenny border in south - west Leinster. Maighnenn built a Church at Kilmainham in Dublin in Co. Dublin in mid - eastern Leinster, which later on after the Crusades became the chief  house of the Order of St. John - Knight Hospitallers - were they prayed for guidance and conducted their military drill. St. Nathi was the Bishop of Achrony in Co. Sligo in the north - west of Connacht. The Gill Abbey was founded in what is now the City of Cork in Co. Cork in Southern Munster and the University College was to be later on built on this site. Snedgus and mac Riaghla two of the priests on the Holy Island of Iona of 91.St.Columbcille went on an imramha - expedition by sea this year.

      Armagh of St. Patrick in the Northern Ui Niaill territory in south - east Ulster was now pre - eminent among the dioceses - paruchia in the northern part of Ireland while Kildare in Co. Kildare in Central Leinster - of St. Bridget - who had accepted the Roman Easter was also pre - eminent among the dioceses - paruchia all over Ireland at this time. Tirechan and Muirchu, who were two scholars, were to lay down the foundation once more for St. Patrick to overcome the popularity of St. Bridget so that Armagh could be supreme. Also Kildare was in the Leinster Province where the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Sept did not have a permanent claim over the Kingship of Ireland as opposed to the Ui Niaill Septs, and Armagh was to win the day during the next century but Kildare was still to retain all of its own Leinster dioceses - paruchia.
