572 AD 93.Demman the Dal Fiatach 6th King of Ulaid, in the north - east of Ulster, was killed by shepherds at Boirenn, who was one of the 2 sons of 92.Cyril / Cairell the previous 3rd King of Ulaid, a son of 91.Murray / Muiredach "Muindearg" the 1st King of Ulaid, who was one of the two sons of 90.Forgg Mac Dallain the direct ancestor of the Dal Fiatach Sept. Their male line to the Kingship from now on was to only be continued through his son, 94.Fiachnae the future 10th King of Ulaid, and it would last right down to 113.Rory / Ruaidri the 69th King of Ulaid in 1201 AD.

93.Baetan mac Cairell became the Dal Fiatach 7th King of Ulaid, in the north - east of Ulster Province, who was a brother to 93.Demman the previous 6th King of Ulaid, and from this year until 581 AD he tried to impose his authority also over the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Dal Riada Sept in both the Scottish Highlands and on the Isle of Man.  89.Aedan mac Gabhrain the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire King of Dal Riada was victorious on the Isle of Man, after he had previously done homage to 93.Baetan the Dal Fiatach 7th King of Ulaid at Rinne Seinne . Magee Island near Larne in Ulster.  89.Aedan mac Gabhrain the Heremonian King of the Dal Riada, died this year, who had their territory in the Scottish Highlands and in the far north - east of Ireland in Co. Antrim in Ulster, who had been a son of 88.Gabhran. He had been the first ever "anointed" leader in Ireland and Scotland after being chosen and anointed by his kinsmen, 91.St. Columbcille.

(He would be the first and last King from his particular male line.)

574 AD Conall the King of Dal Riada, died, who was descended from 87.Comhghall the previous King of Dal Riada, who had died in 537 AD.

98.Colman “Mor” the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge  6c King of Leinster, died at Sliabh Mairge, who was a son of 97.Coirpre / Cairbre the previous 6b King of Leinster descended from 94.Dunlaing the direct ancestor of the Ui Dunlainge Sept who was a grandson of 92.Bressal "Belach" the 1st King of Leinster descended from 89.Cu "Corb."

575 AD  St. Columbanus (Latin for Colman) was the master of the school at Bangor on the coast of south - east Ulster Province who was a well educated aristocrat by birth, and especially versed in Latin. He was to leave Belfast Loch with 12 monks, who were his soul mates / anam chara - to go out to spread Christianity throughout Europe, ("For the love of God.") He travelled to Luxeil, a ruined Roman city, from were he first set up his monastery, and also founded other monasteries from Annegray, and Fontaine, to St. Gall and Bobbio in Italy. He was to send his monks to France and Switzerland, after going onto Bobbio in the Alpennines, and eventually 63 of his disciples where to spread his influence from Gaul and the Rhineland through northern Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Italy until he had also founded 50 dioceses - paruchia. His order of monks were to lead a very strict life, which was not changed until much later when they came under the teachings of St. Benedict.

St. Colman mac Duagh, was to build 5 churches at Kilmacduagh in Co. Galway in the south of the Connacht Province, on land to be given to him, along with workmen and materials to assist their construction later on, by his kinsman, *95.Guaire "Aidni" who was to become the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Fiachrach Aidni 14th King of Connacht, who had his own dun / fortress at Gort in Co. Galway. (*95.Guaire was to also be the ancestor of the O Clerys, who were to assist to compile the Annals of Ulster / of the 4 Masters in Co. Donegal in the north - west of the Ulster Province, in the 17th Century AD.) On the site there and still to be seen at Kilmacduagh, there is a Round Tower, which is 112' high with a doorway 26' up in the side of the wall, together with the Cathedral, Teampall Owen, Teampall Muire and the stone fort of Cahir Cugeola. St. Colman mac Duagh also founded a monastery at Cloyne in Co. Cork in Southern Munster, and another one at Arboe on Loch Neagh in Co. Donegal in the north - west of Ulster, and one at Dromore in Co. Down in the south - east of Ulster were he became the Bishop, and he spent 7 years of his life at the foot of Slieve Carron in Bally Vaughan / Keelhilla to where he later retired.    Because of the vast expansion of the monasteries in Ireland at this time, who now had no Family regional boundaries to contend with, the monks were to leave their kin / Fine  and Tuaths / Family regions to go into exile, and spread Christianity further afield and dioceses / paruchia were now developed, also with the introduction of "Mother Houses." The Abbots were now also replacing the Bishops / supervisors in regard to authority, who from now on played second fiddle, as they had always previously been confined to only one Tuath / Family region.

He had previously given Annagh Down / Enach Duin on Loch Corrib to St. Brendan the Navigator of Clonfert in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht although it was not in his territory, as he was the King in reality from Magh nAi in the north. St. Brendan of Clonfert had originally set out from below Mt. Brendon on his Atlantic expedition to spread the Gospel.

The Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "Northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Septs, descended from 88.Eogan one of the 8 sons of from 87.Niall of the Nine Hostages the previous 126th King of Tara / Ireland, up until now had still not gained authority over the Ulaid Septs in their territory in the north - east of the Ulster Province and even less over the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Dal Riada Septs. (The Ulaid Septs in Ulster this year, took the opportunity to spread their own authority by laying siege to the Isle of Man.)

578 AD  St. Brendan the Navigator / Voyager ,(484 AD - 577 / 8 AD) died, at his sister's convent at Annagh Down near Loch Corrib in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht and was buried there at the monastery at Clonfert.

The Ulaid Septs in the north - east of the Ulster Province, laid siege again to the Isle of Man, while trying to spread their authority in the north eastern region of Ireland.
