457 AD 88.Leary - Laoghaire the Southern Ui Niaill 128th King of Tara - Ireland was involved in the Battle of Ath Dara against the Heremonian Cu Corb Septs of Southern Leinster over authority and tribute and he was defeated and captured personally and swore on being released that he would never come against Southern Leinster again.

461 AD. St. Patrick, died, and during his lifetime he had spread Christianity throughout Ireland rapidly but there were still to be independent Irish Kings who refused to accept the Christian faith and continued on with their Pagan beliefs. The initial arrival of Palladius, St. Patrick, St. Secundinus, St. Iserninus, St. Finnian, St. Enda & St. Auxilius had induced a dramatic influence on the religious and cultural future of Ireland as they not only established and strengthened Christianity but also created churches and monastic schools of learning that were to sustain and have a great impact also in Europe in the future.

463 AD. 88.Leary - Laoghaire mac Niaill the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Southern Ui Niaill 128th King of Tara - Ireland, one of the 8 sons of 87.Niall, died at Caissi in Leinster in the territory of the Heremonian Cu Corb U Faelain Sept and he was buried upright and fully armed at Tara facing towards his enemies in Leinster. He had previously appointed nine renowned members of his retinue to study and revise the Brehon Laws - Fenechas of Ireland and commit them to writing with Duffy - Dubhthach mac Lugir his Chief Druid, Rossa & Fergus acting as legal advisers, 88.Leary himself, Dara the Irian King of Ulaid in the north - east of Ulster & Corc the King of Munster present with St. Patrick, Benignus & Cearnach acting as their Christian advisers. (The  revision  had taken 3 years.) 

        89.Ailill "Molt" became the next Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Fiachrach 129th King of Tara - Ireland, who was a son of 88.Dathi - Nathi who had been the previous 127th King of Tara - Ireland, who was a son of 87.Fiachra a brother to 87.Brion and a half - brother to 87.Niall.

464 AD. 88.Conall "Gulban," who had been converted to Christianity who was another of the 8 sons of 87.Niall of the Nine Hostages, and who was to be the direct ancestor of the Northern Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill Sept in the north - west of Ulster was killed while unprotected in Magh Slecht at the base of Ben Bulben aka Benn Gulban in Co. Sligo in the north - west of Connacht and was interned at Fidhnach Maighe Rein by St. Caillin.

465 AD. 88.Eogan, another of the 8 sons of 87.Niall of the Nine Hostages, who had also been converted to Christianity and who was the direct ancestor of the Northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Septs, died of depression and grief this year over the death of his brother, 88.Conail "Gulban" and was interred at Uisce Chain in Inis Eogain - Inishowen - in Co. Donegal in Northern Ulster.

472 AD 98.Toca, a son of 97.Aed "Dibchine" who would become the future Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Mail 6d King of Leinster, a son of 96.Senach, Chief of the Crioch Cualann Sept in Leinster, died this year. 

475 AD 88.Conal "Cremthainne," the Southern Ui Niaill 1st King of Meath, who was another of the 8 sons of 87.Niall of the Nine Hostages, died this year and one of his 2 sons, 89.Ardgal was to become the future 3rd King of Meath and the direct ancestor of the Cenel nArdgail Sept. His other son, 89.Fergus "Cerball"- Carroll was to be the father of 90.Dermot - Diarmait mac Carroll - Cerbaill who would be the future Southern Ui Niaill 132nd King of Tara - Ireland who is the ancestor of the Clann Cholmain, Follamain & Sil nAedo Slaine Septs. His Southern Ui Niaill male line would last until the end of the Ui Niaill Kingship producing 104.Malachy 11 who would be the 40th King of Meath & 44th High King of Ireland who was to die in 1022 AD.

479 / 482 89.Ailill "Molt" the Dal Cuinn Ui Fiachrach 129th King of Tara - Ireland, died, who was one of the 3 sons of 88.Nathi - Dathi who had been the previous 127th King of Tara - Ireland who was descended from 87.Fiachra of the Flowing Hair, one of the 5 sons of 86.Eochy - Eochaidh "Mugmedon" the 124th King of Tara - Ireland.

89.Lewy - Lughaidh became the Southern Ui Niall 130th King of Tara - Ireland, who was a son of 88.Leary - Laoghaire the previous Southern Ui Niall 128th King of Tara - Ireland who had been one of the 8 sons of 87.Niall of the Nine Hostages.

483 AD 95.Criffan - Crimthann, the Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 3rd King of Leinster, who was another of the sons of 94.Enda "Cennsalach" the previous Heremonian 2nd King of Leinster was killed by Eochy "Guineach" the son of his own daughter, who was from the Cu Corb Ui Bairrche Sept descended directly from 91.Daire "Barrach" one of the 9 sons of 90.Cahir - Cathair "Mor" the previous Cu Corb 109th King of Tara - Ireland.

91.Finnchadh became the Heremonian Cu Corb Dal Messin Ui Garrchon 3a King of Leinster, who was a son of 90.Garrchu the direct ancestor of the Ui Garrchon Sept, a son of 89.Fothad, a son of 88.Eochy - Echu "Lamderg," a son of 87.Mess "Corb" the direct ancestor of the Dal Messin Corb Sept one of the 4 sons of 86.Cu "Corb." 

      St. Brendan was born at Fenit near Tralee in Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster Province who would lead a life of self - denial and sail over the seas in a wicker boat covered in ox skins to spread Christianity and is believed to have reached America during his 7 year journey.              

485 AD 91.Finnchadh the Cu Corb 3a King of Leinster, a son of 90.Garrchu the direct ancestor of the Ui Garrchon Sept, was killed by 96.Cairbre the grandson of 94.Dunlaing the Cu Corb Prince who is the direct ancestor of the Ui Dunlainge Sept.

     92.Froech became the Heremonian Dal Messin Cu Corb Ui Garrchon 4th King of Leinster, who was the son of 91.Finnchadh the previous 3a King of Leinster, a son of 90.Garrchu the direct ancestor of the Ui Garrchon Sept.

490 / 2 AD 91.Angus - Oenghus, the Chaisil 3rd King of Munster, one of the 2 sons of 90.Nad "Froich" the previous Heberian Eoghanacht 2nd King of Munster, one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall "Corc," was killed in the Battle of Cell Osnasdha against 90.Murtagh - Muirchertach mac Ercae, a Prince of the Southern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept, 95.Illann & 95.Ailill from the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Sept (two of the sons of 94.Dunlaing), and Eochy - Eochaidh "Guineach" from the Cu Corb Ui Bairrche Sept. 

      92.Eochy - Eochaidh became the Eoghanacht Chaisil 4th King of Cashel - Munster, who was one of the 4 sons of 91.Angus - Oenghus the previous 3rd King of Cashel - Munster, a son of 90.Nad "Froich" the 2nd King of Cashel - Munster one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall "Corc."   

495 AD Infighting occurred in the Battle of Granard in Leinster between the Heremonian Cu Corb Septs and one of those involved was 97.Eochy - Eochaidh the son of 96.Cairbre - Coirpre, the son of 95.Ailill, the son of 94.Dunlaing, and 90.Froech the Cu Corb Dal Messin Corb 4th King of Leinster, descended from 87.Messin "Corb," was killed.

      95.Illan became the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge 5th King of Leinster who was one of 2 sons of 94.Dunlainge the direct ancestor of the Ui Dunlainge Septs, who was a son of 93.Enna "Nia" the son of 92.Bressal "Belach" the Cu Corb 1st King of Leinster.   

496 AD At the Battle of Droim Loch Maighe the Heremonian Cu Corb Septs of Leinster were able to defeat the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill Septs who were trying to impose their authority over them.

497 AD 90.Murtagh mac Ercae from the Northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept in the Battle of Inde Mor in Crioch Ua nGabhla defeated the Cu Corb Septs of Leinster who were led by 95.Illan the 5th King of Leinster.

498 AD The Battle of Seaghais occurred between 90.Murtagh mac Ercae, the Prince of the Northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept and 88.Duach - Daui  "Tenga Uma" - of the Sweet Tongue the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin 3rd King of Connacht due to 90.Murtagh being a guarantee between the King and 92.Eochy "Tirmcharna" who had been taken prisoner against the protection of 90.Murtagh, and the men of Connacht were defeated.

       In Ulster Province during this period the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Northern Ui Niaill Septs in Co. Donegal & Co. Derry in the north - west would continue to advance their territory towards the Heremonian Dal Riada who had their kingdom in the far north - east of Co. Antrim along the coast, who would also advance there own territory back into the Highlands of Scotland. The Dal nAraide Sept were further down along the east - coastal region with the Dal Fiatach Sept below them also in Co. Antrim and the Heremonian Dal Cuinn 3 Colla kingdom of Orghialla - Airghialla - Oriel situated below Cuib was centred on Co. Monaghan in the south. The Conmaicne Sept were also in the centre between Co. Cavan in the south and Co. Sligo in the north - west of Connacht.

       In Connacht the Calraige Sept were in Co. Sligo on the west - coast with the Cairpre Sept below them and the Fir Domnainn Sept were on the west - coast with the Cianachta Luigni Sept further inland below them and the Gailenga Sept below them. The Conmaicne Sept were also in Co. Mayo in the west with the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Maine Sept in the east and the Heremonian Dal Cuinn 3 Connachta - the Ui Ailello, Ui Fiachrach and the Ui Briuin Ai, Breifne & Seola Septs would continue to strengthen their position.

In Leinster Province the Heremonian Southern Ui Niaill would continue to gain ground against the Heremonian Cu Corb Septs. The Gailenga were inland between Dundalk & Drogheda in Co. Louth in the north east and the Cianachta Luigni were also below them further inland. The Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Enechglais Sept were between Drogheda & Mullingar in the north on the east - coastal region above Mide - Meath with the Cu Corb Dal Messin Corb Sept below the Ui Dunlainge Ui Faelain Sept further in above the Cu Corb Dal Cormaic Sept. The Cu Corb Ui Garrchon Sept were below them on the eastern coastal region with the Cu Corb Ui Failge Sept inland below them and the Cu Corb Dal Cormaic Sept. The Ui Gabla where inland opposite to the Cu Corb Ui Mail Sept who were on the east coast, with the Cu Corb Ui Bairrche Sept below them further inland and the Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig Sept below them in the south east. The Cianachta Eile were in the north of Co. Tipperary near Birr in Co. Offaly with the Heremonian Connla Sept in Ossory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west.

In Munster the Heberian Eoghanachta Septs descending from 85.Eogan "Mor" were to completely gain control and the Erainn - Ithian Corca Loigde Sept were to become further subjected by them. The Cianachta Corca Mruad Sept were in the north - west near the coast in Co. Clare and the Corca Baiscinn Sept were in the very south - west of Co. Clare with the In Deis Tuaiscirt Sept on both sides of the River Shannon with the Eoghanacht Ui Fidgeinti Corca Ochae in Co. Limerick and most of the Eoghanachta were spread out across the north and heading south. The Mairtine were below the Eoghanachta in Co. Tipperary and the Heremonian Deisi Sept were in Co. Waterford with the Heremonian Muscraige below them in Co. Cork and the Ithian Corca Loigde below them. The Cirraige were in the west above Tralee in Co. Kerry and the Corca Duibne - People of the Night - below them on the coast near Dingle.
