1351 AD The Franciscan Friary of Ross Errilly was founded on the banks of the Black River at Headford in Co. Galway in the mid - west of the Connacht Province to the north - west of the road to Cong, where it is still can be viewed as an extensive ruin. In the future the Friars there were to continue to live on in the surrounding region, long after the Confiscations of all the Catholic Institutions and lands in Ireland by Henry V111, until 1765 AD when the Ascendancy Government was to be carrying out some of its worst work in Ireland.

1354 AD This year, Rudraige O More / Ua Morda was the Gaelic Milesian Irian King of the Laogis Septs in Co. Leix / Co. Laois in the mid - north - west of Southern Leinster.

     Brian 2nd O Dowd / Ui Dubda was the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "Northern" Ui Fiachrach Muaide  King in their territory in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province descended from *87.Fiachra

1355 AD Diarmait O Brian the Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain King of Thomond / Northern Munster was treacherously slain by the Keogh Sept and he was buried in what is now the Quin Abbey in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province, which was to be constructed by Sioda / Sheeda Cam Mac Namara to be the place of his own burial on the site of the castle previously constructed there by the Anglo - Norman Baron, Thomas de Clare. Diarmait O Brian's nephew, Mahon "Moinmoy" O Brian became the next Heberian Dalcassian King of Munster after having taken the seat from him by force and he now made the English in the Munster Province pay him rent.

     Maurice Fitz Thomas Fitz Gerald the Norman English 1st Earl of Desmond / Southern Munster and the the English appointed Lord Lieutenant in Ireland, died, In the future his descendant, John Fitz Gerald was to be the 14th Earl of Desmond although he was a lay brother in the Convent at Tralee in Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster Province.

     This year, the Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain Mac Mahons constructed a castle at Carrigholt in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province.

1356 AD James Butler the English 2nd Earl of Ormonde created a foundation at Jerpoint Abbey in Co. Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster for the Carmelite Order of Friars, which had been originally constructed in 1158 AD and its extensive ruins are still there to be seen and fairly complete with effigies dating from the 13th - 16th Century AD including the tomb of Bishop O Dullany who had died previously in 1202 AD. Their is also a tomb there in which Peter Butler who was to die in the 15th Century AD is interred, and when Henry V111 was to Confiscate it, among the many other Catholic Institutions, and its surrounding lands he was to give it together with 6,500 acres to another of the Butlers then to be known as the Marquis of Ormonde. James Butler the 2nd Earl of Ormonde also founded a White Carmelite Priory at Knocktopher in Co. Kilkenny / Ossory and its Holy Well is near the church and the Carmelites are still there today.

1357 AD Donough Mac Namara was slain by the O Brians.

1358 AD Donnell / Domhnall was the Heberian Cianachta Luigni King in their territory at Leyney in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province.

1359 AD Brian mac Donagh / Donnchada was the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn King of Tir nAililla / The Land of 87.Ailill in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province and Manus / Magnus was the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn King of the "Northern" Ui Fiachrach Muaide Sept in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province descended from 87.Fiachra.

    Edward Fitz Maurice Fitz Gerald / The Rhymer the Anglo - Irish 2nd Earl of Desmond was now the leader of the Desmonds in Southern Munster and he was totally committed to Ireland.             

   The Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriains O Brians of Thomond / Northern Munster held the Firmince Castle near Cahir in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province that had been originally constructed by Conor O Brian the King of Thomond in the 12th Century AD.   

1360 AD The Norman - English Parliament at Kilkenny in Co. Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster had their representatives advise the Norman English King, Edward 111 that unless “succour and remedy“ was forthcoming Ireland and his lieges would be lost and they wanted an English army sent to Ireland.
